Hopefully we get the same type of effort and performance from Canada we got vs Russia. My confidence will go be over the roof if the same chances are there and basically another game just like that, I don't expect the same type of goaltending either.

This will be a better test than Russia since Sweden has it's top players playing in this game (most I think).

Gonna go with a 3-0 win for Canada, Comrie is the starter for the rest of the games.

Mostly interested in seeing Canada's lines. Hopefully they use Petan at centre and go for three offensive lines.

That and how quick does it take for McDavid to get his feel back for the puck, taking and receiving passes. He was fighting it in camp.

Im looking forward to see Blidh and Karlsson. Both are great agitators and energy players. Both will make it hell for Canadian players when they are on the ice.

When will Grönborg release the lines?

Yep.

I think Petan will play a LW rather, which is fine, as he will add another top element into that line of Paul-Point imo. What I'm excited about is 1) McDavid and his line, will they be as dominating as Reinhart's line or even better? That would be huge. 2) Petan's line - I think Petan-Paul-Point could be as dangerous as D-R-D.

This is what I think we play, at forward:

Fabbri - McDavid - Lazar
Domi - Reinhart - Duclair
Petan - Paul - Point
Ritchie - Gauthier - Virtanen
Crouse

Imo that 4th line is somehow underrated here. I think they could be a perfect energy-checking line, or whatever you want to call it, with a solid scoring touch.

I'm going to go with 2-1 Canada with Mcdavid getting 1 and helping 1...and Nylander with the swede goal.

I think we'll see more scoring from both sides than we did in Canada vs. Russia. Should be a fun tune-up.

6-1 canada with Kempe, Kylington and Nylander all injuried and Grönborg banned from the rest of the tournament.
