How would you compare EP's trade value to d-men like Fox, Heiskanen, Josi, or Dahlin? I'm not suggesting a trade, just wondering how people would value the players with contracts in mind. Who would have to add?

According to Friedman, they want a centre back as the first priority. Then they’d probably be looking for a dman, with picks/prospects/salary on either side to balance it out. So what C+D packages could we realistically see?

Mitts + Girard
Cozens + Byram
Zib/Trochek + KAM/Scneider
Coyle + McAvoy
Dobson + Nelson

McAvoy for ep 40 is fair deal and I proposed it. Many here seem to like it. Bruins really need scoring they in serious power outage

Because of what MacFarland gave up to get Mitts, doubtful he does this. But as an Avs fan, I would. I might be in the minority though. Lots of Avs fans are attached to Girard (he’s been quite good since the program) and many are nervous about Miller.

Yzerman going use this winning streak as an excuse to make zero moves like last year.

(Still holding out hope for Pettersson)

Every day that goes by drives me nuts.

Age, contract term control, and cap hit are factors. Then you compare a pt/game center vs a top paring D.

* I feel Dahlin/Pettersson is close. My gut tells me most value Dahlin more but how far is the gap? Not sure.
* Heiskanen/Pettersson is also close. More closer than Dahlin. Fair amount of cap difference there though
* Josi is 34 and signed until age 37. That is not equal to a pt/game center at age 26.
* Fox is is the lesser value from the 4 D you mentioned and is UFA in 4 more seasons. Pettersson > Fox

McAvoy is terrible

Not terrible but also not as good as some think he is. Still a top pairing guy on several teams though and the terrible narrative is just wrong.

The Canucks told us they weren't trading JT Miller after actually talking about trading JT Miller to the Rangers during his leave of absence. This whole leave of absence doesn't sound like what the Canucks made it out to be, which leads me to believe that they will trade Miller sooner or later.

Canucks aren’t taking Zib, they lose the trade and sewer their chances instantly taking that bum.

Watching Mika his entire career in NY essentially, I think he'd thrive with a change of scenery playing second fiddle to Pettersson. He's actually been much better for the Rangers recently. I undertsand why you wouldnt want him though. Hopefuly Allvin and Rutherford agree with me lol.
