Good luck with that. LA is still paying mike Richards and will be for another decade. He doesnt have to agree if he breaks the contract-rules.

Yep. And LA will still be paying him for another decade.Cant say I understand it much but didn't Richards get terminated for less?
This screams pretext. I seriously doubt any arbitrator would find this to be a material breach. There are already punishments for violating protocols so to say for *this guy* who happens to have a huge contract that the breach is material beggars belief.Maybe but how many violations and warnings do you get? He's breached his contract what at least two times now?
Richards termination was shaky, this sounds clear cut.Good luck with that. LA is still paying mike Richards and will be for another decade.
You misunderstood my post. I guess the posters I quoted incorrectly assumed he agreed to it, which obviously isn't the case.
that was a settlement not a full blown terminationYep. And LA will still be paying him for another decade.
Way more complicated than that.Doesnt have to be mutual if Kane broke contract rules. Sharks can terminate it without any salary-retention. They just kick him off the team with 0$
Not completely off the books I think .. as the kings are still paying for the Richard's contract terminationGreat for Sharks, if he comes of the books.
Guess no takers
Edit: Lol
It was a contract termination that ended up going to a settlement. just like this will.that was a settlement not a full blown termination
His first breach got him suspended for 20+ games for forging documents. If he did that again and was putting his AHL team at risk, I don’t see the NHLPA having his back. They didn’t defend him with the massive suspension eitherThis screams pretext. I seriously doubt any arbitrator would find this to be a material breach. Kane is a dick, but this is bullshit by the Sharks.
Didn't realize he won that.
So he violated AHL rules as well and faked another vaccination im guessing
What a clown
Agreed. Keep in mind the membership base as a whole won't want to encourage biohazards like Kane. The guy committed criminal medical fraud and then was dumb enough to re-offend the same season. His first breach got him suspended for 20+ games for forging documents.
