Why did Kvaratshkhelia kept on gesturing and mouthing at the ref when he was already on a yellow card from previous matches. He eventually got the yellow with about 10 mins left and match out of reach when they were losing 3-1.

And why did Sagnol kept him on the pitch? Kvara will now miss their play-off match in March.

Some times living up to national stereotypes is just more fun than what's in your best interest :dunno:

You forgot Pedri.

Abde never played for the Spanish national team, while Munir at 19 probably peaked (10 goals in 16 games for the U21, wouldn't you have tried him for the big team with those numbers?), looked like he'd amount for something but he didn't and he's not even a regular for Morocco right now.

If anything Spain is SLOW at integrating new players, they still get Jesus Navas on the right instead of Pedro Porro and Grimaldo just debuted at 28 on the left.
No, I wouldn't. Gouiri has averaged something like a goal a game throughout his youth NT career and he was never called for France and has now turned to Algeria.

Abde was called up and hesitated. He even asked for his spanish nationality card until he eventually changed his mind and chose Morocco.

Spain has been ridiculous in calling up youngters after 10 good games in la liga. Nothing new, and I'm surprised this is even a debate.

It's actually surprising that those 14-0 results don't happen more often. Big countries just stop playing seriously when they have large enough advantage.

One of the worst penalty decisions I've ever seen. Great acting by Miovski.

Pickford saved the pen but Bardhi scored the rebound.

Czechs and Slovenia are in (for Slovenia first time since 2000). England need to hold on to at least a draw for Pot 1 status in the draw

After Ceferin's comments today, Gil Manzano didn't dare to whstle a 93rd minute penalty for Mudryk going down in the box. Not saying he should have, but somewhere else it could have been given.

Czechs are through, it's a relief but hard to imagine us doing much at the tournament itself...

It a was an hell of a dive, nice try. Even Mudryk didn't say a thing.

Can someone tell me why Norway isn't in the playoffs because I don't have a clue how the system works, and also which teams did qualify for the playoff?

Italy qualify by the skin on their teeth, Ukraine had a penalty shout late. They advance on h2h over Ukraine who are playoff bound. Czechs and Slovenia qualify with home wins but finish 2nd in their group on h2h, both in Pot 3

England confirm the last Pot 1 spot with their draw along with Germany, Portugal, Belgium, France and Spain

On a minor note, San Marino scored in three straight competitive matches, don’t know for sure but probably the first time that happened

So only one spot left, between Croatia and Wales tomorrow, Croatia in with a home win over Armenia, Wales need to beat Turkey at home and hope Croatia slip up

Playoffs nearly set too, Poland guaranteed a home match but need to wait for Croatia/Wales tomorrow to see who they play…
Path A
Croatia/Poland vs Estonia
Poland/Wales vs open draw Finland/Ukraine/Iceland

Path B
Israel vs Ukraine/Iceland
Bosnia vs Finland/Ukraine

Path C
Georgia vs Luxembourg
Greece vs Kazakhstan

They finished too low in the NL overall rankings: Finland/Iceland/Ukraine all finished ahead of them. In the final matches they really needed Israel to qualify automatically, once they lost to Romania it was over for Norway

Murdyk threw himself like he was trying to sell his moves in a WWE in match

He made the most of it, but in all my years of playing and watching...100% a pen. Cristante completely misses the ball and gets 100% of the shin.

Wasn't even checked by VAR which is absolutely crazy.

Totally agree, soccer is so archaic in regard to reffing and getting the calls right. The game needs a coaches challenge, clearly the ref did not see it correctly. The Ukrainian forward made contact with the ball and was taken down, 9 times out of ten that's a call.
