In the battle of perennial playoff chokers Bosnia blow a lead and Ukraine will steal it with two late goals. Lots of lopsided games which surprised me

Demirovic missed alone with Lunin. It's crazy how good he can be in the Bundesliga (14 goals and 9 assists this year) and how bad with the national team (just one goal in 24 games as a center forward).

Ukraine's coach Rebrov sent then a message, taking out team captain Zinchenko and two others, and putting in Yaremchuk, who completely turned the game around with a goal and an assist. Ukraine through.

Here are the finals matchups, to be played on Tuesday, winners get the remaining three spots at Euro 2024

A: Wales vs. Poland
B: Ukraine vs. Iceland (match will be played in Wroclaw, Poland)
C: Georgia vs. Greece

Georgia looking to make their debut tournament, while Greece haven't been to one since the 2014 World Cup; the other teams have all played in major tournaments in recent years

Would be really cool to see Georgia go through. Just ran into some nice folks from Georgia at the bar last night and my son's going there with his mom in the summer.

Great atmosphere in Tbilisi, though 4 years ago Georgia lost in the playoff final to a weaker team than Greece

btw, both managers in today's games are linked with the Republic of Ireland job

Both sides with one good chance in the opening 10 minutes, Greece though with the bulk of the possession so far, Georgia playing on the counter

Greece have some guy named George Baldock playing for them

Then and there
0-0 at half time, but Greeks had couple of persons from their bench sent off after a melee at the end of first half. Not sure whether they were staff or sub players.

Then and there
Kvaratskhelia forced to come off at 109th minute. If the match goes to penalties, he most likely would have been their first choice PK taker.

Now that's how to shoot a perfect PK by Georgia's first taker, while Greeks' first shooter misses.

Mikautadze puts his effort badly wide, so it's now level after 3 takers each.

Neither team is anything special, but at least it's nice to see Georgia in their first final tournament.

Iceland take the lead at 30 mins.

Bit surprisingly, Ukraine hasn't really been in the match at all so far, Iceland have been clearly more dangerous, even if they didn't have any gilt-edged chances before actually scoring.

Edit: Ukraine scored, but it looked offside to me. Indeed, ruled out.

Edit2: Welsh have a 46th min headed goal by Ben Davies ruled out for offside.

Neither Poland or Wales were gonna excite this tournament, Poland always are so one dimensional with no offensive skill at these tournaments. I had feeling Poland would have slight edge on penalties due to goalkeeping. Wales should kick themselves. They had everything in their hands back in November after beating Croatia then they failed to win their final two qualifiers

Georgia the lone debutants in 2024, continuing the trend since the original Euros in 1960 that at least one debutant participates. That means 19 UEFA nations have never qualified for the Euros

Slovenia and Serbia return after a 24 year absence, Romania and Albania return after missing the last edition. From the previous Euros the teams who failed to qualify were Russia (banned), Sweden, Wales, Finland, North Macedonia. For Sweden they competed in 6 consecutive Euros prior to this edition

Top scorer in qualifying was Romelu Lukaku with 14
