San Marino is definitely the worst NT in Europe but is it the worst in the world? I think at least in Oceania there are even worse teams.

They have 1-8-188 record, last on FIFA rankings and population of 33k, hard to imagine there being many worse teams lol

And their BEST players are usually from the Italian fourth tier. However there are worse teams out there, I remember seeing a cool documentary about the American Samoa team, who was playing a transgender center half in full makeup.

Funnily enough American Samoa ranks 187th so whopping 24 places ahead of San Marino in FIFA rankings because of their 3-2-24 record, despite having not played a official game since 2019.

San Marino's record is always going to be worse because they have to face stronger European competition. I'm not saying that necessarily means they are better, but it's worth considering.

Finland national team fans are easily the best in Europe with the Scottish tartan army, game against San Marino and 36 000 people chanting loud for the whole 90 mins.

Yeah, that much is obvious. They also get ttmore points for their draws and wins because of playing against tougher competition.

But yeah, there are always gonna be worse teams but all of them also play lot less regulary than San Marino, who are losing 6-0 to Finland as we speak lol

I wonder how much of a difference it would make if San Marino one day had a talent like Haaland in their team but the rest were still the same.

I know they were expected to finish bottom anyway but Latvia lost both games this match window in injury time, in the same group Turkey-Wales is a pretty big game, for Wales I would say they need a result after their home loss to Armenia or things will get tough for them. If Switzerland beat Romania later today they can already start preparing for Euro

Scotland
Wales down to 10 (unfairly imo. I guess the high boot is always going to be penalised these days. One of those refs who loves to be overly flamboyant with every decision though)

Could get use to the Rashford, Shaw and Kane combo at Old Trafford. Nice finish by Saka. Good to see Rashford get a goal in an England shirt at Old Trafford too.

Nobody is stopping this Kazakhstan train :sarcasm: They have a playoff guaranteed too so they are in decent shape

Swiss blow a two goal lead in the 90th minute at home to Romania

Haha thank you Slovenia! Finland leading the group and are getting closer to qualification. I'm saying this, because Finland under Kanerva has been extremely good against similar level and worse teams, i can't see them losing or tying with Kazakhstan. Also Denmark game is at home so atleast a tie is quite possible.

Israel and Romania fighting for second place in the group, but judging by the play so far, it's Romania's all day. Alon Hazan is out of his depth - needed to sweat for a win against a bunch of Andorran semi-pros.

I know he had a quiet year, but I'm still really high on Gravenberch. And Simons having the season he did makes him a very interesting prospect to. They've got good FBs to.

That attack though...Malen & Gakpo might be there best forwards right now...
Their decent players with promise but its really slim pickings for a team like the dutch. Hinging their aspirations on one or two players isnt it.

An hour and a half later and it's descending into farce at Hampden as they're trying to restart, but Georgia aren't coming out so the ref's come out for another pitch inspection. Looking forward to the riot that happens when it gets called off.
