Terrible result for Norway. Very difficult to qualify out of this group now.

Do they have a road through nations league playoff qualifying?

Norway are in a position where they are not guaranteed a playoff but they are on the "bubble" to talk in North American sports terms, for example as of right now they would be the first team out, they need the likes of Wales or Finland to qualify using current results, of course lots can change over time

Georgia qualifying over Spain would be funny, and I think there's a decent chance of it, but those stupid Nations League bailout spots should get Spain in anyway.

we global football a company that calculates probablities in football states that Norway has 79% probability to be in a Play off in Nations league. But only 7% probability to be a top two team in this group right now. So it's a decent chanche to get into a play off. Most likely in a divsion A play off in Nations League.

Nations League kan være redningen for Norge til EM i 2024

Pretty crazy and unthinkable 10 years ago. I thought Spain would be a force for a lot longer. They can still produce silky midfielders but lack quality almost every where else. Up front they are toothless, CBs are much better either. Keepers at one point they had Iker, VV, Reina and DDG. Now they have DDG, Simon and Kepa? Drastic drop off but not terrible.

Europe big boys in general are in a decline except for France, Portugal and England. Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and Belgium are all worse now then they were previously. Especially the former two who dont look like they'll be getting out of trouble any time soon.

Actually Spain has selected two French CBs. That's how desperate they are.
They're also trying to poach tons of youngsters from the Paris area.

You know when you get hilarious sporting commentary from people with funny voices? What a three minutes of radio this is:

Hate Martinez and jus system for Portugal. Significant lack of interplay in the middle and no one creating lines of passing. Palhinha had no partner to lay the ball off to and we either lost it or passed it backwards…so many talented CM’s that need to play.

Also while Ronaldo played ok, it’s clear to see he has no pace, explosiveness, nor agility anymore. He can’t play vs better teams.

Neves lost the ball in a few key areas in amateur like fashion. If he’s going to Saudi Arabia he shouldn’t be called up, DM should be Palhinha/Florentino/Danilo.

I'm sorry I haven't been around as much lately, but you don't need to lay out bait like this

Netherland and Italy. Germany is on a much better footing but I do miss you as always.

lol my bad. Had to run out to the mountains for a week or so...but I am likely going to go MIA for a bit again. Going to be a busy rest of the summer!

The Dutch are in a weird spot cause they have so many pieces of a legit good team; until you reach the attack...then all of the de Ligt, Timber, Ake, etc.'s in defense and de Jong, Gravenberch, Simons, etc.'s in midfield cease to matter.

They have some serious talent in certain areas like Cbs but thats pretty much it. Frenkie is good and the others are alright but hardly world beaters. The attack is crap though.

I know he had a quiet year, but I'm still really high on Gravenberch. And Simons having the season he did makes him a very interesting prospect to. They've got good FBs to.

That attack though...Malen & Gakpo might be there best forwards right now...

Nothing wrong with Gakpo but everyone else there...they better hope Brobbey pans out.

"Nothing wrong" with Malen either...8 G+A in 1033 NT minutes to 8 G+A in 1270 NT minutes for Gakpo...but neither is good enough to be the best player of your attack unless your midfield is absolutely world class and you can Croatia it.
