In a game with Schaefer and martone in it I have been most impressed with Spence so far

I didn’t watch live but I’ve got the replay going. Martone is great although I didn’t see him do much tonight. Spence is also great, obviously, and when he’s on like he was tonight he’s more dangerous than anybody.Schaefer took a puck to the risk which resulted in a Brampton goal.
Spence is good. He has an arrogance to him, but he gets the job done.
He actually isn't on the roster.Callum Hughes - Stats, Contract, Salary & More

He on the roster now
Only one of these rosters matters and until he actually signs with the team, he won't be on it.Not on the Otter's website, true. However, if you go to Erie Otters Elite Prospects, he is listed as being on the roster.
He was actually at the game Wednesday and a buddy of mine had lunch with him that morning. He is billeting with Malcolm Spence.Only one of these rosters matters and until he actually signs with the team, he won't be on it.
Seems like the hold up is related to more paper work / processing stuff than anything else.He was actually at the game Wednesday and a buddy of mine had lunch with him that morning. He is billeting with Malcolm Spence.
That's what I think it is. He should be in the line up this weekend pending nothing more happens.Seems like the hold up is related to more paper work / processing stuff than anything else.

Keegan Knight was sent down.
My guess is they look for an NCAA for D to add depth to the back end. Of course it wouldn’t hurt to look at the goalie situation.Shame he was sent down. I think he has potential. Perhaps he will make strides like Henry did and be more of a contributor next season.

If Callum is as good as they say he is, DB might actually get credit for a decent move with no loss.
Yes that’s exactly what I meant. Likely they will look at the pipeline of NCAA commits. This would be the best case possible for Erie. Spend nothing and get the reward of talent. They wouldn't get an NCAA player for D unless you mean NCAA commit currently playing JR A. There won't be any players currently in the NCAA move to the OHL for several reasons. They are already on contracts with their school with scholarships and they are most likely aged out anyways. Average NCAA player is 23 and most don't even start until they are 21 which is overage for the OHL.
Agree they need a depth D, a defensive D
Erie drafted a kid in 23, Turner, a right shot dman who I think is committed to Colgate.Yes that’s exactly what I meant. Likely they will look at the pipeline of NCAA commits. This would be the best case possible for Erie. Spend nothing and get the reward of talent.
I believe Hughes is only the 4th player in Otters history to wear #9. Steve Nimigon, Ryan O'Reilly and Liam Gilmartin were the others. Unless I'm wrong, which I usually am.Hughes is wearing #9. On a line with Frasca and Hammond.

Missing a big one with Maksimovich ..I believe Hughes is only the 4th player in Otters history to wear #9. Steve Nimigon, Ryan O'Reilly and Liam Gilmartin were the others. Unless I'm wrong, which I usually am.
Holy shit, I remembered Gilmartin and forgot Maksimovich, lol.Missing a big one with Maksimovich ..
Awhile, not absence. This ref Mitchell Hardy is brutal. Waived off the Hughes goal and was overturned. Watched Spence get thrown down behind the net and did nothing. Then Fimis gets his stick slashed out of his hands in front of him, no call and Soo scores on the other end. It's been absence I commented on a ref or refs, bur he has been brutal.
