Supposedly refs are going to be late and game is pushed back 30 minutes.

Dylan Edwards is a young man possessed...

Also to note...

Ty Henry isn't on the bench...perhaps an injury?

Curious why he didn’t make the opening roster if he could have provided anything remotely close to this..

That’s what you get with SB tho, an over reliance on size over skill and it was part of the many reasons I had hesitation with the hire. But I guess we can view it as a “free” deadline aquisition

Size more than likely...

Even as a 2005 I have him higher skilled atm than Toroptsev, Hammond, Roysten, McDonald, and Messier. I liked him as a solid 3rd line player IMO at the start of the season with little likelihood of cracking the top 6, but next year could be a pivotal piece in a deeper run. I also had him ranked higher than Lucas Signoretti coming out of camp.

At least SB has realized this and Edwards is also showing he has something to contribute to this squad.

Perfectly said in he was a "free" deadline aquisition.

What are the odds the game happens tomorrow? Hopefully Sarnia can get there safely. I wonder if they’re going to keep the local refs on call in the event the original refs can’t cross the border.

The start time has been pushed back to 4pm to allow more time for Sarnia to safely get to Erie.

Our livestream is the worst. I understand we don’t have Roger’s or Cogeco but we can’t get anything better? It’s 5 seconds delayed.

Anyone else notice Stan wasn't on the bench for the 3rd period?

Someone posted that elsewhere.

Hopefully he's ok and was just kicking Daviault for being ejected for going Mike Tyson on someone lol

He told Daviault to “stay f****** here” when the linesman told him to go to the room. I wonder if Stan got ejected.

This is according to someone near the bench.

Really impressed with the production Erie has gotten from Edwards lately. Given where they are at currently, anything less than 6th seed will be a disappointment for me. 5th seed is still in reach, so I’m hoping they push for that because what a bright sign that would be for the franchise. They could even make some noise in the playoffs, especially if Edwards is going to give them anywhere close to even 0.75 PPG moving forward, as just another forward option.

In hindsight, I am glad they didn’t sell or buy at the deadline. They can definitely finish 6th, maybe 5th seed and at least be competitive in round 1. Going forward, I’m most curious to see what Edwards and other young guys can do to contribute because I’m starting to have some hope about next year, especially if they have Edwards continue this breakout play. Looking forward to the rest of the year and just hope Erie can continue to be competitive the rest of the way. Considering the 0-3-1 start, they have been pretty good or as good as you could expect with the backup goalie issues and being in yet again the toughest division in the league

On a different note, the Otters have their northern swing coming up. That Sault Ste. Marie back to Erie must be one of the league's longer grinding bus rides - good thing it's only once a year.

I was under the impression that only SSM had long trips like Niagara-Erie one time per season. LMAO

3rd game in a row now where Sova is scratched? Hopefully the upper body injury isn't too serious.

Our stream is trash, but how can the stream have “technical difficulties” in the final 28 seconds? Unbelievable.

I watched this misery for 2 hours and couldn’t even see the final minute.

Glad I was working this evening and was just watching the dashboard. I missed most of the 3rd but good to see they tried to claw back.

For those who can't get the dashboard up...

4-0 halfway through 2.

McDonald, Terrance, Molnar, and Bressette with goals.

Tonight goes to show two things. 1) how tough the Western Conference continues to be. We won that was the goal, but Sudbury is top in the east. If we were in the east, we would be in the mix for a higher seed. It’s hard to say and it’s not to discredit Sudbury from their success.

2) We can play against anyone. Keep the PP going and be disciplined to stay out of the box. We didn’t have to struggle on the PK which helped us. A lot of people contributed tonight and it’s nice to see four lines rolling instead of exhausting the same two.

Today was a good solid 60 minute win. Take a rest day and bring the same energy Sunday.
