it’s a waste of time because no matter what the players say we know they are lying
They've said they are going to start on time for games for 5 years and it really never happened.

my EDM VGS game turned into xgames women's skateboarding.

Just no self satisfied smugness and underlying arrogance. Humble is required, last year was embarrassing to watch. Thanks.

Dubas won’t have any say in the matter. If Dubas’s sent packing and the new GM cannot get Matthews to sign an extension by mid June he will be traded

You know they will be smug and you know they will be arrogant . It’s who they are

You might not be alone.
I am a Leaf fan until I die... hopefully it ends there lol

But, I would not blame anyone for jumping ship.

The Leafs are a money making machine. So really, the pressure to win is low from that perspective. Like, they want to win, but they do not need to to be profitable.

So, until the losing starts to hit MLSE's bottom line (tickets, merch, tv numbers), I am not sure anyone is really all that upset on the business side.

Nothing important is going to be said tomorrow, its a waste of time. At most they'll announce Keefe is gone and maybe a Dubas extension.

Nothing bigs coming up for a while and I doubt we get any real insights into how they are looking at the future of the team either.

I've come to terms with being a Leaf fan, to be perpetually disappointed. I'm not even getting into any heated discussions about the direction of the team anymore, it is what it is, all we can do is hope we win at some point, nothing we do effects the events that play out anyways.

So in other words let’s run it back for the 8th time

I think that remains to be seen.

I think anyone hoping that they will completely blow everything up and trade everyone still under contract for a draft pick will definitely be disappointed.

There's still a fair probability that there will be substantial changes to the roster in some form. Mandated by the ownership board or not, there certainly going to be a fair amount of external pressure from different sources for that change to happen and there will be response

Likely you're right.

They will say: "We feel we are a step closer...", and "It's a learning process...".

I was hoping this was the end of the Dubas era, but we could be in for a few more years...of disappointments. If TOR wants fans to stop caring about this team, just keep running it back only to lose.

Yzerman and Ovechkin were hard workers and consistent producers and Marner/Matthews are not .
secondly neither of their teams were constructed the way the Leafs are.
Thirdly look how quick Chicago’s stars won the cup

That’s because McDavid is a true star and Matthews is a Poser

Well let's all be thankful Racer88 will get nowhere near the team to make decisions

McDavid - out in 6 games in the 2nd round - very impressive

You wanna trade Mcdavid for Matthews straight up and see where EDM ends up compared to TO. Not close bruh.

Any announcements will be regarding MGT, unless they signed ROR, Schenn, Acciari and Kampf and Sammy.
They are not going to say they are looking to trade someone.

Well, AM might feast on Pacific Division plus Kane can actually protect him.
McD will still be dancing on the ice with the Leafs but will he gets the same calls as a Leafs. We will find out in a few years

Well McDavid did manage to not let Danault shut him down.

I absolutely don’t want them to blow it up. I want Keefe gone and I would like Dubas gone as well unless he is willing to trade one of Marner or Matthews

After their heartless performance in the second round, I don't give a shit about the end of season presser.

It'll be more of the same. I'm starting to believe gutting management and the core wouldn't be such a bad thing.

If Dubas really did survive, I expect to see some Grade A media hostility and pointed questions about two things: the softness of the team's core talent and Dubas' childish behaviour in the press box.

For sure it wasn’t a good look for Dubas but it sure is sad that the GM sitting in the stands has more fire and passion then the dam players on the ice.

I would suggest confirmation of Keefe's departure and Dubas' retention would be big news
