Only thing I’m curious is about is how Auston answers about his future.

If he gets indignant about the questions he isn’t going to wait the last year

If he wants to stay he will say it
Everyone always says they want to stay. Some do and some don’t. I remember Tavares and Gaudreau saying they wanted to stay too.

1 minute after hearing management is staying, the core is staying, we believe in these guys and we are going to run it back:

Woll is starter material on a ridiculously good contract... That opens a up about 5 million from Murray. Knies looked legit, Robertson coming back. I can see Dubas saying "my plan is so close!!"

Knies Matthews Marner
Bunting Tavares Nylander
Holmberg/Robertson Steeves Jarnkrok
------ ------- -------

Reilly Schenn
McCabe Timmins
Brodie Liljegren

Samsonov/Woll

Seems like the leafs have a lot of cap space and a lot of players ready to graduate full time. Even after signing Bunting. Whose next contract shouldn't be as much as it looked like it would be at the end of last season.

Keefe is 100% gone though, without question.

That’s not true. Half the flames said no. Helly in Winnipeg too. Hyman made it pretty clear it wasn’t happening you get. A pretty good sense of where things are going

Dubas is a pretty open book You can tell what he is planning (players have to agree)

Prediction:

Shanahan will be gone. Dubas to President, Wickenheiser to GM. Spots below them will shuffle around.
I might have to find another team

The presser news should confirm that was likely the case following the win over Tampa, that Dubas has been extended.

Looks like Shanny staying too (though I wonder if there will be a change of roles).

Keefe I'd still doubt returns, probably announced tomorrow they're starting the search for the next coach
So in other words let’s run it back for the 8th time

Now that the bitter bitter disappointment has dissipated a bit, there should be no "blowing it up". Continue on and learn from all the years of failure. How many years was Yzerman in the league before he won a cup 12? 13? Same like Ovechkin. We follow the advice of the loser sports media in Toronto and blow it up now, we're looking at perpetual no hope mediocrity. I know everyone is pissed but you make your stupidest decisions when you're angry. That's true in life and true in hockey

I just can’t watch any of this. I can’t handle watching delusional, entitled Matthews and Marner basically say it’s not their fault. Marners indignant attitude that anyone could actually consider that he could be at fault wants to make the throw up

presser question:

Is Matthews injured and is surgery being considered, and is it the same operation he had on the other wrist.

and is he going to take super long to decide so he misses games to start the year (again).

Yzerman and Ovechkin were hard workers and consistent producers and Marner/Matthews are not .
secondly neither of their teams were constructed the way the Leafs are.
Thirdly look how quick Chicago’s stars won the cup

Edmonton game started at 10:00. It's 10:15 and McDavid has more goals than Matthews had in the entire second round.
That’s because McDavid is a true star and Matthews is a Poser

I think your head will explode if Dubas says we believe in Matt Murray, his health battles are now behind himlol

The post game interviews are painful. I can't watch them either.

The post season pressers are just next level pain.

Wont be watching either.
Yup, it’s a waste of time because no matter what the players say we know they are lying because not one of them is going to change on bit.
