Seems like Heineman is coming over!

I think the plan all along was to come over when his season ends.

When did his season end?

Is Engstrom coming over when his season ends, though just for the remainder of this season, then back to Sweden next year?

When is JF Houle getting fired ? Or, is his contract up ?
Well he's part of Hughes' network. They've known each other going back a long time to, if I remember correctly, when Kent Hughes himself played for Lac St. Louis midget AAA. Same with Martin Lapointe.

I also think that they see the players they called up from Laval step in the line-up and don't look out of place and even contribute on the score sheet and that tells them that maybe JF Houle prepares them well.

It is tradition for fans who know next to nothing to blame coaches.

Houle has worked closely with the big club to incorporate the same systems and players coming from Laval have integrated perfectly. I have heard people say stuff like "Houle's system" which is hilarious because it is evidence that they do not know what they are talking about.

Houle appears to be doing a fantastic job and should absolutely be retained

Why not ? He is putting on ice two Canadian University overagers because he is lacking manpower.

Mysak is nothing to write home about. Just a freagin bad pick. Again ! Like Hillis, Fonstad, Smith, Biondi, etc...
Yeah Mysak has definitely found his first full pro season to be very challenging. He has a ways to go.

How could we possibly know? He’s not playing.

The drafting the last 5 years is looking good though overall. It's still too early to judge. Of course most draft picks don't make it so it's no surprise one is able to create a list of a bunch of individual picks that didn't make it.

Haven't failed yet:
2022: no definite busts yet
2021: Mailloux, Kidney, Kapanen, Trudeau, Roy, Simoneau
2020: Guhle, Farrell, Dobes
2019: Caufield, RHP, Struble, Norlinder, Fairbrother
2018: KK, Ylonen, Romanov, Harris
2017: -
2016: Sergachev, Pez

you only need one or 2 players to make it for a draft year to be a success.

Swedish coaches have a tendancy to overate their players....

... and why ? Because he is not even AHL caliber.
Probably cause they know only big names/elite player in North america and they don’t about those middle/bottom forward?. To be fair, I know many name players in the NHL, but in the SHL, number is very thin, maybe 10 names? Compare Heineman to Draisaitl is just unreal…
