Vancouver ran out of gas and couldn’t keep up when Edmonton hit the accelerator in game 6.

Wonder what this Vancouver team could’ve done against Edmonton in a series with Demko. Not saying Silovs was bad, but just one extra goal-saved could’ve been the difference in game 2 or game 4 or game 7.

Good luck in the next round, Edmonton.

Sucks to lose a close series, but this is definitely a positive year for Vancouver, especially when a lot of people expected them to miss the playoffs.

They actually have a lot of cap space this offseason, they can add some good piece to support the Pettersson/Miller/Boeser/Hughes/Demko core.
I think they will likely lose depth rather than add anything. They need to sign 3 top 4 D-men for instance.

Guys like Hronek and Joshua will be looking for huge raises, and top four D men will be going for $6-7+ million in free agency.

Pretty much this and as a Canucks fan the last 2 games were beyond disappointing.

Maybe it was injuries and obviously the Oilers have way more talent but the Canucks effort was really flat and disappointing as a whole.
Oilers have been in our shoes before. They have fell short and knew what it would take to come back down in the series. They simply wanted it more. Hope it showed our guys what it takes to win for the up coming years.

Hughes' skating hasn't looked that slow since he was 12, he's definitely banged up

It took the 2 biggest Canuck MVPs to be out for the Oilers to beat the Canucks in 7 in a one goal game. Safe to say if the actual Canucks roster showed up, theyd win easy
If the Leafs top 4 core showed up, they'd win easy.

If the Canucks are at one or 2 players to go from a division winner to a fringe team, you got a depth problem. That team ain't made for the Stanley Cup even less for the playoffs

Hronek can get bent. I don't care if he comes back at all .
