Oilers barely beat the Canucks minus their starting goalie, their top winger, and with their franchise center having 1 goal in 13 games.

Fun series. But you're going to get smoked by Dallas, and you know it. Enjoy this while it lasts.
Silovs played as good as Demko would have.

The point about Petterson is weird. He sucked and that's just how it was. The Boeser point is legit. The only thing there is that as heroic as that comeback was, Vancouver was not in this game at all until the last desperate stretch. After the Oilers timeout the Nucks had nothing.

I'm really curious how the Oilers face up to Dallas. Everyone says the Oil will be crushed. All I can say is bring it on.

if vancouver sucks so badly what hope do you have against dallas???
Not sure what you mean... we aren't saying Van sucks... VAN media and fans are self declaring their team as handicapped/underdogs/playing on house money etc.

Yes, the 2 guys that helped you throughout playoffs and face the best checkers and defenders on the opposing team.

You'd be better off just being gracious in defeat and moving on rather than doubling down on every bad take you have. "Fun and exciting series, look forward to a rematch next year" and then just log off.

Learn something from your elder, much more respected Canuck posters. There's always next year.

Proud of the Canucks. No one expected us to be here and we took a Cup favourite to game 7 and almost tied it without our leading goal scorer and without Demko.

Future is bright.

I think they will likely lose depth rather than add anything. They need to sign 3 top 4 D-men for instance.

Guys like Hronek and Joshua will be looking for huge raises, and top four D men will be going for $6-7+ million in free agency.
Eh depends, they got the space to re-sign Joshua for like 3.5 m then can probably get a couple of top 4 D men for about 5-5.5mil each.

Also from what I've seen a lot of Canucks fans want Hronek to be traded.

If part of your argument against the Oilers is that they kept a franchise centre shut down, you're not going to have a good time.

Canucks out 2 key guys is huge. Take out Mcbaby and Drai, oilers would be shutout

McDavid was non factor tonight
Draisaitl, same, bad faceoff 38% and 3 shots with 1 assist.

Skinner was a Swiss cheese goalie, if he was slightly decent, it would've been different.

If Cole wasn't a double agent, maybe Vancouver would've had a better chance
