Thought this was a move Chicago would make to be honest. Add another guy with some size to their club as well as getting a guy they could take a chance on in their top 6 of cheap.

Annoyed that Klim was included in this, but as was the case with Pulju, he fell out of Woody's good books.

So that leaves you with...

It's quite interesting to think back on how this board spent all of last summer derailing every thread debating Yamamoto vs Puljujarvi when it turns out the correct answer was neither.
Oilers drafting strikes again.

I'm not going to judge this deal until I see how the cap space is utilized.

acceptable trade imo
the book on yammer is out, he’s damaged goods with limited upside
and klim is proving to be a headcase

couldn't even get a 7th rounder for Yamo? geeze
Teams were paying picks to dump players.

It was more that he was seeking too much money for a 4th line player that can't play special teams.

Yamamoto yes... we knew that was coming. But Kostin...for nothing? I really liked his game and thought with proper use had a tremendous upside. Played like a cheap version of Kane... and as we all know we need grit. Let's see how they'll plug that hole......
