Nurse has been arguably the best defenceman on a team tied for 3rd overall in the league.
Klingberg is a close to league minimum depth signing.
If you’re going to troll, at least do it with some intent.

Nurse has been great all season this year. Arguably our best defenseman. If you had paid attention, maybe we would take your LOLZ seriously.
It's hard to place Regula anywhere until we see what he looks like. Until then, I'm not putting him anywhere.
...ummm, yeah it was; the possibility of Ekholm getting moved was HUGE news back then...him getting traded did not come out of nowhere...this year, I really don't see any news of a Dman the calibre of Ekholm, who I think is a phenomenal all-around Dman...

Great signing now that I see the caphit and term. Could pay off huge. I know all the cards will show he was trash last season but 32 isn't too old for a Dman and he was obviously injured.
2RD still needs to be addressed though IMO with a bigger swing than this.

This isn't exactly true. There were rumours that he was available. Seravalli had Ekholm on his trade board over a month before the trade happened. Nashville was in sell mode, and his name was certainly out there.

He's no worse defensively than Josh Brown, and if he can still skate, his offense helps. A depth guy isn't going to be perfect.

We don't have a PP defenseman after Bouchard, so it fills a need. If Bouchard were to be injured, Klingberg won't replace him, but could be a better temporary solution on the PP than Nurse, who is the PP2 guy right now.
The Oilers will add a #4 at the deadline, I'm sure of that.
Kling will be the #7, with Stetcher being the #8.

This guy stinks now, even pre-Robidas island. Gives up on plays, lighter than a feather in the d-zone, prone to some insanely flashy gaffes.

The Oilers' success depends on McDavid, not the 7 or 8 Dman.
