The Leafs have Boston's 1st round pick. Of course they wanted Boston to lose. Regardless of this series, Boston losing in the first round was favourable to the Leafs.

Their powerplay dominated. An AHL team’s powerplay would dominate the Panthers PK. Leafs will score almost every game on the powerplay and in some games up to 2-3 times. Panthers will have to win 5v5 like they did vs Boston
