Just came here to say this...that instigator penalty on Lorentz is why I hardly watch the NHL anymore. Trouba with the dirty hit and cross-check, the penalty goes to the guy defending his teammate. The NHL isn't what is used to be. I'm not a fan of either team, in particular, but that was brutal.

They also won two in Raleigh.

That Nashville series had no business going 6. The fact that Game 3 and 4 both went to 2OT off of some absolute horrendously stupid play of our own accord is proof enough.

And then Tampa happened where we had a 3 goal lead in the 2nd period with a chance to bring the series back home tied, and we absolutely collapsed.

Yes. And tampa won 3 in Raleigh that series.

You can't win like this, and its such a consistent problem now that its effectively part of our playoff identity under Brind'Amour. Tough at home, dogshit to the point of complete mental meltdown on the road.

I think you're overreacting to these playoffs by bringing "on the road" into the equation..I don't disagree the team has collapsed in the past, I've said so myself.
