2019: beat Washington in Game 7 in Washington, swept the Islanders, lost to Boston in 4
2020: bubble
2021: beat nashville in game 6 to win series, both Nashville wins were in OT, buzzsawed by Tampa 4-1, only win was in Tampa.
I just wish they hadn't incentivized them after the loss on Sunday when the road is already enough of an obstacle right now.

One that’s been a fan since 1997. Season ticket holder throughout the 9 year playoff drought. Stuck through it all. Whoever turns a game off in the 1st period after a 2 goal lead is one that’s here for only the good weather.
I wish when teams tell you they are going to take runs the refs would watch for it..

The Rags have a two way perennial Norris contender, and he's scored 1g 1a in this game so far.
They also have Panarin, who is better than any Canes forward, but he's sucked this series so good on the Canes for keeping him at bay.
I do have some DaemonHunters to play..
They were 5-8 in actual road games under Brind’Amour coming into this playoff. Not great, but not terrible.

I mean to be fair, they're barely getting it done at home right now, too.
That stretch of Game 7 vs Washington and Game 1 and 2 vs NYI were really the only time we've been able to consistently go toe to toe on the road. That Boston series broke us and showed the world how to handle us on the road.
That Nashville series had no business going 6. The fact that Game 3 and 4 both went to 2OT off of some absolute horrendously stupid play of our own accord is proof enough. In fact, Game 6 shouldn't have even gone to OT, either. And then Tampa happened where we had a 3 goal lead in the 2nd period with a chance to bring the series back home tied, and we absolutely collapsed. One of the worst collapses we've been a part of since the game where Florida kept us out of the playoffs in I want to say 2010? And then the Boston series this year happened, and now the NYR series is happening as well.
For every 1 game we've looked good in the playoffs the last 4 years we have 2 or 3 where we just completely shit ourselves. You can't win like this, and its such a consistent problem now that its effectively part of our playoff identity under Brind'Amour. Tough at home, dogshit to the point of complete mental meltdown on the road. There's really no way to argue that it isn't who we are.
Ok… I just put on my signed aho third jersey that’s never been off it’s hanger…. I’m doing my part for the rally… canes better get their shit together
