New Jersey will be no easy out. The Hurricanes will have to deal with this us and likely lose at this point. I am sincere, they are goi g to fold like cheap lawn chairs. Luke Hughes was a game changer they will have to deal with.

We are moving on to the Leafs folks.

They outplayed them the first 2 and lost. They’re getting outplayed tonight and it’s tied 2-2 so we’ll see how that shakes out

And only about once every playoffs do I totally want back one pick 2 games into the series. Funny enough, last year it was Panthers over Lightning. I totally went 180 on that by game 2.

Same thing with the Leafs in game 2. I don't think they're winning this series.

I didn't even waver on the Devils over the Canes after the Canes went up 2-0.

The best part is our game was first, we kicked ass and now we can enjoy the rest of the games today.

The impressive thing was how we consistently crashed their net, got inside position on them, scored dirty goals in close. If we keep that up we can win this series.

Honestly don't even think this move takes great skating, but what it does take is a fantastic awareness of space, which Luke appears to have. I don't think most players would've kept skating into traffic like that.

The great skating comes in the confidence to attack like that because he could recover if it breaks down.

Schmid was better than him this year, though it was in much smaller sample size, so I think it was fair to not anoint him as being better because of that.

But he's been way better in the playoffs. Schmid's worst games have been Vitek EVERY game so far.

I don't think we're winning this series with Vitek and I do think we still CAN win this series. Gotta go back to Schmid.

And I know it was a small minority of people, but the fact there was maybe more than 1 person was pretty nutty,

Watching live, you can see how slick a skater Luke is. His edge work is really good.

Bratt made some hard plays tonight. That assist on Nicos goal was all effort and grind to get that pass to Nico.

I’d pay him because he is an all-world skater, drives play, has chemistry with both of our top centers, fits our system perfectly, and is just 24 years old.

But the play was great. Loved the toughness after getting crunched into the boards.
