Hands off to McLeod again for an awesome game. Same for woody.

If Mikey can play like this the rest of the playoffs, we will be a dangerous team. Wood getting a Wood-esque goal is a relief. He's either got his confidence back, or his health or both.

Happy for those guys, they took a lot of crap over the last few years, but McLeod really found his playoff gear. If he can keep up that kind of gear in the regular season, he'll be a good 3rd liner.

Finally scored a PP goal. Hopefully settles that down.

At least we are not 0 for 20000 against them this year.

-Didnt give ourselves much of a chance

-Maybe if Canes get the first one things would be different. They were the better team, no doubt
-Didnt consider goal change after 1st

-Mcleod SHG was the back-breaker
-Not happy with Slavin penalty. Says he played it as they teach it. Not happy with a lot of what happened late
-Didnt like the way the sticks knocked out werent called both ways. But says it wasnt why they lost the game

There was some nasty stick work on both sides. However, I thought Tatar was going to kill Aho

Ruff is super transparent in his interview. He thought Bahl struggled and that both Smith and Luke were playing better. which is why he didn't play much in the third. Speaking of Luke he thought he was not just good but great. Regarding Vanacek: he wished Vanacek had stopped some, but he also made some big saves when the game was tight. More neutral, which makes me think no decision has been taken for next game.

If nothing else we needed a blowout both to have some positive regression scoring wise and to get Luke some real run. I think if it was a close game he plays between 10-12 tops

So outside of games 3 and 4 against the Rangers we've now won 3 games by an average margin of 4 and lost 5 games by an average margin of 4

We'll see. Ruff is not someone who scratches people for a long time. Sometimes it's just less playing time, other times it's a one game scratch. Usually when he does the later, players come back much better.

To me he’s exactly what we need to counter their forecheck. We can’t get anything going without clean breakouts — Luke was a machine getting it out and up the ice.
