Just opened up the NST players page and guess who is leading the playoffs in CF% right now?
With three goalies in net? It might take all three to stop one puck this seriesPlayoff beast Simon Nemec is available. Let’s go 10-6
I learned a few things watching this game.
1. Luke Hughes will be a star professional hockey player.
2. It is possible to score 2 short-handed goals on the same power play. In decades of watching multiple thousands of games, I can't recall ever seeing that.
3. Carolina's top scorer is a lame little B cheapshot artist, pulling disrespectful crap I wouldn't have done in middle school (when I was generally disrespectful 24 hours a day).
4. I was more nervous with a 4 goal lead at 8-4 and 10 minutes left than I would have been if the score were 4-0. Which is weird.
5. Jack Hughes thought he could play a professional hockey career and not lose a tooth.
It was 5 on 4 when Palat scored, but Luke did a good job setting it up.
Vanecek couldn't stop a beachball in that gameRuff is super transparent in his interview. He thought Bahl struggled and that both Smith and Luke were playing better. which is why he didn't play much in the third. Speaking of Luke he thought he was not just good but great. Regarding Vanacek: he wished Vanacek had stopped some, but he also made some big saves when the game was tight. More neutral, which makes me think no decision has been taken for next game.

Luke did make up for his goal allowed by creating one though, albeit a 5 on 3
I think we did like a decade ago.Didn't we score two shorties on the same PK once?

Yeah, but have you done deep recon on his character?Just opened up the NST players page and guess who is leading the playoffs in CF% right now?
Without looking, I think we did it at Toronto early in the 17-18 season? It was either that or a 5 on 3 SHG.Didn't we score two shorties on the same PK once?
I'd let Luke PK at this point.Unless Graves is ready to go Bahl stays in the lineup.
Hamilton and L Hughes can't play PK.

Even without the boner, I think Luke's breakouts are simply too important at ES. I'd like him to see every ES minute we can feed him, because the team just works better with him.
The PP requires his specific skills a little less imo, and given our psychotic shorties against record this season, I'm fine not jumbling it more than necessary (just play PP2 more).

Probably.
I can't remember crap any more. But it's pretty damn rare I think.
