Tavares stats are fake. He's a PP merchant. Every line he leads on the Leafs is routinely getting hemmed in the defensive zone every single game. Horvat is bad but he's not getting paid 11 million.

The difference is that there is video evidence of tickey tack calls or phantom calls against TOR. All FLA penalties have been warranted.

We're arguing about less than nothing, to paraphrase a Slav. The reason people are saying he embellished are how he went down from a tap that happens all the time and his reputation. Panthers killed it, so who cares. But calling for 19 and a game is its own thing.

The precedent of allowing a cross check in that area is already set. It earned matthews a suspension. Should the act not be punished regardless of severity?
