He does carry the puck into the zone from time to time, but he has become more of a defensive zone first center. As far as coverage in the o zone, he tends to play back a bit. One of those guys you can watch all year, check the stats, and be surprised he's a ppg+ player.

Cheers. He has obviously always been great defensively but seeing a center that deep is quite unique, Bowman had Larionov and Fedorov do that.
