I thought our team D was a bit scrambly at times, but not nearly as bad as what we saw in the Washington series.

There were a few missed assignments and poor coverage by our forwards. Cally made some awful decisions in our own zone and Boyle made some questionable passes in the neutral zone.

Boston has some really good two-way forwards, and the Rangers no longer have depth in that area after the moves made in the last year.

Probably the most baffling thing about this team is that they still seemingly can't make a clean tape to tape pass

I'm just so mad about losing in OT again. Reading the posts here makes it worse. I'm only posting here on off days from now on. This series is going at least six games. Even going down 2-0 against this team isn't a death sentence. We play this team close every time, and we come out on top for the mos part. Have faith.

Because shooting can create scoring chances.

Also, Dorsett's shots >>>>>>>>>>>>> half the team.

Why does everyone get mad at Eminger and Cally for their shots then? Eminger had one that was wide off the right boards that could've given the Rangers prime real estate behind/in front of Rask. Not that I don't think Eminger is mediocre or Cally's playing like a greek god but people(no specific people) are being very hypocritical.

There wasn't much of the game where the Rangers looked to be outplaying Boston. It was either even or more Boston for the most part. That said, Lundqvist let up two goals that he should have had. Those are shots that he typically saves in his sleep.

And of course the crappiness in OT continues. Amazing how bad this team is in the playoffs in OT, road games or not.

It just really would have been nice to steal the first game in Boston. With a guaranteed split, it's like game 2 would have been house money. Coming out of the first two games with a split is always a victory when you're the road team.

Because Callahan seemingly can never hit the net and expecting anything offensively from Emmy is a pipe dream.

I like when Dorsett shoots because he takes some quality shots. That's another thing. Its not only that he shoots, but his shots actually look like they have the chance to go in. None of this wrist shot from the point nonsense or high and leaving Earth's orbit **** either.

Quality shots then? Cally shot the puck wide, twice. One of them was an empty net.

Worst part is that the crowd in Boston was crap. Even the Washington crowd was better than that. The Rangers shouldn't have much problem winning a game on the road... Of course scoring first would be nice, but they did have the lead and couldn't hold it.

that's the main source of frustration, it was a winnable game.
i don't think they can play much worse and they took the game to OT.

I really think that if Nash gets **** going maybe Cally/Eminger/Richards will start contributing. Those 3 seem to be the 3 that haven't contributed anything these last few games.

Your logic makes sense until you get to Eminger. I really think you'll be disappointed if you expect much from it at all.

I didn't think we were outplayed at all in regulation. Sounds like a bunch of Caps fans in here.

And yeah we sucked in overtime but that's like the ****ing sun coming up.

Flat out ********.

Not one sec of one period were we not outmatched & outplayed. A seeing eye goal in the second doesn't constitute a good ****ing game.

Worst game of the playoffs IMHO.

Blindly standing up for that performance doesn't make u a good fan.

Every aspect. Every facet. Bad.
Every basic rule broken.
Every menial task ignored.

Pathetic. Top to bottom... Hank to torts bad. Bad

We won the last round but the same problems still exist

PP Stinks
PK Stinks
"Big Time" Players Stink
OT Stinks

The Bruins are a better team than the Caps

Probably can't say anything that hasn't been said yet. Don't know why I didn't just shut the game off before OT started. Oh well.

Really don't think the Rangers have a chance if this goes back to MSG 2-0 Bruins. Going to have to come out hard on Sunday afternoon.

Very frustrating.

Even then, there is no excuse to miss shots like that. We give Del Zotto a hard time for it, so Cally deserves blame as well considering he plays on offense.

That's NBC. They turn down the crowd.

What a gross exaggeration. Being morbid over losing what was largely a close game on the road doesn't make you a good fan either.

See, everyone is down on the guy, even me. I believe he could be a really solid D-man with some real motivational force pushing him.

It's not that I think he's bad. He's good enough for what he is which is a 7th D-man taking regular games due to injuries in the lineup.

I think it'd be unfair to rag on him for that. I'm just saying that when it comes to scoring, I expect nothing from him.

You're over-racting a bit. Game 1 and 2 of the Caps series were definitely worse than this game. Both teams didn't play well tonight, Bruins came out with the win though. It was a pretty even game up until OT unfortunately.
