Ultimately Hall didn't deliver either. He does a lot of good things and has a lot of skill but he's the definition of a complimentary player and desperately needs a good center to play with. I know nobody wants to hear it, but everybody thinks it, if we have Krejci playing as good as he did the year before we are moving on to the second round.
That's not to fault Haula, he's a decent hockey player, but he's just not Krejci, and we didn't replace him adequately.
You need to let Krejci go. He left. He hasn't played NHL level hockey for a while.

Time to move on

Yes agree 100% move on. He'll be 37 this time next year when you need him.

Kretch was my favorite player- I thought he was an unbelievable talent who didn't need the spotlight. I think a lot of fans under- appreciated him while he was here and it took him leaving for them to realize how central he was to the team's success.

all that said- I don't think he is coming back. He made it clear it was time for hockey to take a backseat to family. And who can blame him

I have a gut feeling that is where Bergy's thinking is as well.

two foundational players as well as tremendous people gone in back-to -back years is a loss I don't think any team recovers from immediately.....and that includes the Bs

It just sucks that he couldn't have signed for one more year to atleast have one more run with him and Bergeron down the middle.

Finally got him a top line winger and he and Hall looked great together. Put Krejci between Hall and Pastrnak and I think we're moving on it the second round. Hopefully Brett Harrison turns into something cause this team has zero center options moving forward.

I'm likely feeling like most ... torn ... proud the boys put together champion quality stretches in the regular season ...proud they battled to a game 7 and competed...could have won ... sad its the middle?/end? of a seriously #1 era core in Bruins history ....no one to blame here really, couldn't have asked for a better 10 years + out of this team ... I'm proud to be a Bruins fan more so than any other time in the 50+ years I've been cheering for them.

If I were Bergeron I’d be telling who ever is in charge, my return would be contingent on Sweeney and Cassidy’s employment being terminated.
He wouldn't do that, and you also don't demand an entire head office revamp when you are leaving the organization in 0-2 years.

as much as I want Sweeney gone and as much as I know Bergeron is too professional ever to do that……if he lost his marbles and did it and Im Jacobs Id tell him to go f*** himself. Nice knowing ya.

I know, was just venting frustration over the current management turning the Boston freaking bruins into a European Junior league team with Bergerons best years flying bye. Besides bergy is way to classy of a person to go in there and do something like that even though he’s earned every right to do so. Sweeney and Co got there chance to put their mark on this team and the nhl and it just didn’t work, they went too far soft, too far on the other end of the pendulum . Time for a new outlook and new perspective.

I'm not too hurt by the loss anymore. There was a chance this roster could have pulled it off but there's so many heavy hitters in the east this year. tough loss, okay series, good season. But at the end of it all, bergeron is my biggest concern.

And to be brually honest I think I feel bad for the diehard leaf fans at this point... That's a good team and I really like Matthews, but man we've been through the lows, and they suck. But at least we have the highs.
