I enjoyed the season and 1st round considering I didn't predict them to win round 1, I hoped they would but reality of not being able to get secondary scoring said they couldn't beat the Canes.

The Bruins found a great goalie tandem in Swayman and Ullman. Tuukka just sailed off into the sunset without his loss being a problem for the Bruins now and in the near future. We could give Sweeney/Neely credit for that. I also think they should get credit for Lindholm. Beyond these, I struggle with giving them credit for any moves they made. I can't wait for a change in the top (GM and up) through the ownership.

Onto next season.

Sad end, wished we could get past the Canes, although we would have had almost zero chances to win the cup with this roster.

Hoping for some offseason changes to improve the roster and exchange some of the rusty parts in particular Smith, Coyle, Reilly, Foligno and if there's a chance Hall.

Aside from Bergeron the Bruins got completely bullied down the middle. Haula-Coyle is just not a serious 2-3 punch for a team trying to contend. With the way their cap is structured, this is borderline unfixable situation for next season. Tough times ahead.

I hate that Bruins hockey is over for us. Only about 146 days until we get hockey again. Bergy will take his time about his decision and I believe he doesn't know the answer yet. Let's wait and hope he comes back.

I would love them to add some snarl to this team, something that has been lacking for a long time.

Thank you Bruins.

I am SO glad most here don't make the decisions for the Bs.

I agree about Jacobs not caring about hockey, but he would love the Bs to win a cup as it puts more money into his pockets for years.

My hope is the Bs find the players to fill the holes.

I have said all season that I think an enforcer (not a goon) is needed but not sure where to find such a player.

I hope Bergy returns.

The Bs have some players to build around. I keep Bergy, Brad, Pasta, MacAvoy, Lindy and Swayman.

Maybe to others.

With one year remaining.

He’s going to command what, north of $8m per?

Have to deal something of value to get something back.
You don't trade a 40 goal scorer. Of course it depends how much he wants but $$$ doesn't drive Pasta. He is young and IMO is starting to play better defensively. Pasta is a positive force. He isn't the kind of player you let go (unless you are not smart).

All in all the team did better than my expectations this year, bright spots were Swayman and Ullmark replacing Rask without any big drop off. Lindholm is a nice addition, give him a full year to get used to the system. Time to get a little more skilled and chip in with some muscle and size. The team is too focused on everyone being too defensive, slow and pondering, lets push the pace and throw some weight around.

Mac needs help from another dee that can put up points, try and get Chychrun. Hall was fine but he needs a real Center, Haula is at best a 3rd line guy, he can replace Coyle. Haula cannot drive a line in the top 6. Pasta was going half speed, probably still injured, it was rare to see him skate like he used too. Imagine if they got Hertl, or a guy like him, that is what they need.

I wish Jake would stay, he was one of the best forwards we had on the other hand streaky Smith is no better than Lazar, get rid of him, Nosek and Foligno, there are options in house. Bergeron's days are coming to an end sadly and no one in the organization is good enough to take over. They have to trade to upgrade down the middle for both top two spots. At least the Leafs are out, I can have peace and quiet her in Ontario.

I hope Bergy is back and he will take a discount to help the team because he is Bergy.

How do you know $ doesn’t drive Pasta? Kid is young, building a family, of course it does.

I am cheering for the Flames and Florida
I’m not cheering for anybody. I’ll watch. But that’s it.

Agree to disagree.

Being overly attached to the pieces you have in place is now you end up in this position in the first place.

Just keep running it back, season after season.

And now the path to contention is completely closed.
I’d like to see someone else take a shot at molding this team. Different point of view
