He’s a family guy. He’s smart. He’s proven everything already. He’s taken extraordinary physical abuse over his career. And I suspect he feels the window has closed for this team. Add all that up and I’d be surprised to see him come back.

Hope I’m wrong. Either way I do NOT see him going anywhere else. If it was a Bourque situation maybe, but he has his Cup.

I would trade Pasta long before Marchy. Pasta, because of his 40 goals, would give the BRUINS a great return. GM's mainly look at scoring stats, and hopefully won't notice that when Pasta isn't scoring, he's a liability on the ice.

Love Patrice, much sadness if this is it, but you have to admit Staal owned him and his days as a dominant #1 center are over.
He could extend his career for a number of years and be effective and productive, but it would have to be in a lesser role focusing on PK and his defensive skills. Sort of like how Trottier went on to an extra couple cups with Pittsburgh. Asking him to be the #1 center is asking too much at this point.
I think the window just closed and we will now pay the price for drafting poorly and trading away too many picks and prospects for attempted cup runs.
Sadly, it's over. I just hope we don't sink so low we swap places with Buffalo.

Trading Gryz gets you next to nothing. He is a cap dump and at most would be worth a 6th or 7th so trading him only helps our cap to sign someone

Those two D. The point is everyone else, except Marchand (without Bergy), is a jag, or worse. Leaving Bergy and Marchy out of it, you literally have 5 players that are worth a damn. Everyone else is meh, or worse. Even if you don't blow it up Bergy retiring (if he does) already blows it up.
