Everyone freaks out and morale reaches an all time low, Rangers win game 6 to restore hope and string the fans along only to then lose 2 to 1 in double overtime in game 7 to twist the knife extra deep.

Sticking by that, but if they can play 5 man defense to start the game, force a mistake and get the 1st goal the Rangers will win. That is how NJ has played every game since game 3. Gotta fight fire with fire. Get away from that and it's a loss.

Also, Meier and Hischier are due so i'd bet heavy on either one of them to get one tonight.

It's arrogance, stupidity, lazy bad habits and some may call it, hubris..

This team has struggled when getting ahead, especially this season.. They stop doing what got them there and what has been working.

It comes down to leadership imho. They can't police themselves. There's also very little protocols to fall back on if/when needed.

I do not see how they've been the better team.
