With Schmid, his glove was exposed and you could see how that could be an issue going forward. Although Ruff will be heavily second-guessed if this move backfires on him.

Vanacek gave up 12 on home ice, so hopefully that carries over. Honestly I'd love to get 3. I think that will be enough for Igor.

Schmid isn’t anything special. His confidence might be lower now after Game 6. No way they were gonna start Vanecek. Just play tonight like they did in Game 6 and we will be fine. Just gotta shut down Meier, Bratt, and Tatar once again because we know Hughes is gonna be Hughes.

Score first, dump and chase. That nullifies their transition game a lot. Igor will give us a chance.

It's like we're watching different games. The guy has done nothing impressive. We did not test him for 3 games. Finally hit the net in game6 with traffic and he crumbles.

The guy just drops and prays the puck hits him. He's a literal shooter tutor.

I also read somewhere that they got the first line away from the Hischier line and matched up against the Hughes line and that helped too

if they do the same thing as last game he will crumble again, dude leaves rebounds out there for us too. crash the net , get into the slot. I think the first line will play that type of game and they will come through. I worry about the other lines though

Devils have played 1 good game against us. It was against a lifeless corpse of a team in game 5.

I do not see how they've been the better team.

When we play our game.... We win. It's really that simple IMO.
