Hate the negatives. We're going to win. As much as some want to point to what happened in some other series, the Rangers have often done well in game 7s. And NONE of it matters. Different players playing each other.

Rangers win. LGR

Devils pretty much have a free ride to the finals and a cup win if we don't beat them imo
Idk, man.

I 100% see where you're coming from but Ruff is gonna kill that team.

If they manage to get past the Rangers, Ruff is gonna blame the series going 7 on lack of physicality. They're going out of their way to hit because it's the playoffs. It slows them down and it's gonna wear them out.

Maybe, its also possible Carolina is being underestimated. I don't think Schmid is anything special and Carolina is the perfect team to test him by getting a flurry of shots on net. His rebound control is pretty poor.

Was really impressed with how they defended in the 3rd. I expected them to shell up and blow it but they played their only good defensive period of the game.
It was impressive.

Maybe I’m conditioned to the pain of not getting the puck out cleanly…. But it was refreshing to watch

One of the kids or Paanarin has to do something useful tonight
Laffy scores tonight or Tob has to move back to Vancouver.

Sun Tzu, the master of strategy and might,
Now stands before the Rangers, ready to ignite
Their fighting spirit, their passion for the game,
With his words of wisdom, their victory to claim.

"Listen well, my warriors, for I will now impart
The knowledge and the tactics that have won wars and hearts.
The Art of War is not just for the battlefield,
It applies to every challenge that we face and wield.

First, know thyself and thy opponent too,
Their strengths, their weaknesses, and what they pursue.
The Devils may be fierce, but we are Rangers bold,
With skill and strategy, our story will be told.

Second, seize the initiative, strike first and fast,
With precision and power, make their defense last.
Our offense must be relentless, our defense strong,
Our teamwork and our spirit, like a symphony's song.

Third, use deception to confuse and to mislead,
Make the Devils think we'll attack from the left, but instead
We'll strike from the right, catch them off-guard and surprised,
Our strategy and tactics, like a web disguised.

Fourth, adapt to the situation, be flexible and quick,
If our plan needs changing, don't hesitate or stick.
The game is fluid, the momentum can shift,
Our focus and our discipline, our winning gift.

Fifth, use your strengths against their weaknesses,
Our speed, our skill, our teamwork, our successes.
The Devils may be tough, but we are Rangers true,
Our passion and our spirit, our victory in view.

My warriors, these are the principles of war and of life,
Let them guide you, let them inspire and drive.
For today we fight not just for a game or a score,
But for the glory of the Rangers, forevermore.

Now go, my warriors, and fight with all your might,
With the Art of War as your guide, your victory in sight.
The Devils may be tough, but we are Rangers strong,
Our destiny and our legacy, forever to belong."

And so, the Rangers took the ice with hearts afire,
Their skills and strategy, their spirit and desire.
And in Game 7 of the playoffs, they beat the Devils true,
Their victory and their glory, a testament to Sun Tzu.

I asked ChatGPT to write a poem about the Rangers winning Game 7 tonight...

"In the heart of New Jersey, the battle did begin,
A showdown between rivals, a fight to win.
The Rangers and Devils, both poised for the game,
A chance for glory, and to earn their fame.

The Prudential Center was lit up with red,
A sea of jerseys, each fan filled with dread.
The tension was high, as the puck hit the ice,
A fierce battle ahead, full of sacrifice.

The Devils struck first, with a goal in the first,
But the Rangers stayed strong, not feeling their worst.
They fought back hard, with grit and determination,
Their sights set on a victory, a sensation.

The second period came, and the Rangers lit up,
With three quick goals, they had their cups.
The Devils tried to fight back, but the Rangers held strong,
The clock ticking down, the tension prolongs.

The third period was a fight to the end,
Both teams playing hard, with heart to contend.
The Devils tried to score, but the Rangers stood tall,
Their defense unbreakable, not letting a goal fall.

The buzzer sounded, the game was won,
The Rangers had done it, their victory had begun.
The fans erupted, their cheers could be heard,
The Rangers had won, and the Devils deferred.

The Rangers celebrated, their joy so sweet,
Their victory earned, with hard work and defeat.
The Devils had fought hard, with all their might,
But the Rangers had won, and earned their delight.

So let us cheer for the Rangers tonight,
For their victory was truly a sight.
A win for New York, a triumph for all,
And memories of this game will forever enthrall."

Have to get the jump early in this one, similar to Game 1. Brand new experience for their team, while the Rangers have two game 7s under their belt from last season, and plenty of others in the past. Kreider must feel at home in Game 7, it's all he knows.

Desperately need that Panarin-Chytil-Kakko line to produce and the 4th line to not get caved in.

Igor was fantastic last game. If we get him fully locked in and he can manage to give up one goal or less then I like our chances. We need him to be absolutely at his best.
