If the goal is to be a serious SC contender going forward, well that ship has now sailed. The proper thing to do would be to blow it up like Ottawa did, but we know that will never happen. Instead we will likely be a borderline playoff team for the next few years. That dosen't interest me at all. I sure don't plan on watching many of their games next year, this is the final straw, I am beyond disgusted with seeing yet another massive choke job. I will always be a fan but no longer will pour my heart and time to supporting them, the emotional investment is not worth it.

I'm mad like the rest of you but hey ...it's been done before and will be done again .. it's sports. On to the next year ... I think Bergy will be back but not DK ...but he put a hell of an effort to win game 7..all time Bruin fav. Next year underdogs or 1st overall pick, it is what it is..let the cycle begin again.

Thanks for letting me share this season with all of you.

You deserve all the best!

I’m not sure how I can enjoy another season after this one.

I joined the bandwagon again, and for the first time since 2019, watched every game. At this point I wish they played a decent season and got a 4-8 seed. Doing what they did in the regular season and then ending it with this series…
Just don’t think I need this again.

I’ll see how I feel in October I guess.

Tonight was a tough one and I'm sure a lot of you are hurting. People deal with this shit in different ways, so y'all do what you gotta do. I just won't be here to read it. All I'll say is this:

Nobody feels worse about this right now, than the players and coaching staff.

I've been a Bruins fan since 1972. Good or bad, I'm always gonna be one. I'll be ready to go next September, and I'm in whether we make the playoffs or we are a lottery team.

Black and Gold til I'm dead and cold.

Edit: Probably wouldn't hurt to go over to the Panthers board and congratulate them on the win. They played their asses off.

Front office, everybody but Gold. Scouts, GM, Ast Gm, Presidrnt, et al see ya.

Coaches, every single one gone.

Sign Bertuzzi, keep Swayman and Pasta. Everybody else can go, that whole disaster of a D can f### off.

Get guys that give a shit, that have produced in the playoffs, be it Ahl, Nhl, Whl, wherever. Guys that win in the playoffs.

Get faster, get meaner, get more hitters, get D that hammer people. No more 6'5 soft D's. Get leaders, Dustin Browns, Matt Tkachuks, Steven Stamkos', Jacob Troubas, Brendan Gallaghers.

Make some changes not based on f###### analytics.

Broken ribs for Hathaway for sure. Other than Bergeron injury I don't care about the rest of them. THey played soft. Didn't hold their positional play.
I'm curious what happened to Lindholm. Something's messed up there and though I want to say concussion, knowing this team, they don't allow them to play when they're like that after a head injury.

So, bizarre all around.

This team has been a roller coaster every year even when they won the cup they went down 2 - 0 in the series. 3 game sevens first time ever team had to win.

You’re not wrong.

But NHL playoffs are a roller coaster period with very few exceptions, no matter the team. Even this year, almost every series played had huge swings back and forth. Just how it goes .

The Big Smoke (unfortunately)
Funny thing about this series. Florida played more like the Bruins of old than the Bruins of now did.

Chip in pucks. Get dirty. Go to the net.

I don’t know when exactly Boston decided they no longer wanted to play that way but I’d hope, in the future, they would go back to it.

They’ve become a team that relies on power plays to win games and looks lost in the playoffs 5 on 5.

They look small. And they played small all series.

The guy that beat them, Tkachuk, is the guy that should be a f***ing Bruin at this point.
Yeah, if we’re going to tear it down and rebuild, and we really don’t have much choice, I’d prefer that we became the Big Bad Bruins again. Regular season hockey is meaningless, all that matters is the playoffs and the playoffs require toughness.

The pieces were there. For once. We had it.

And they blew it. No energy. No urgency. Can't even get a breakout going. Just flat all around. I don't understand it. How do you stop playing shutdown D? How do you stop being physical?

You let an inferior team win. And you allowed it. If you simply just played your game, this series is over. That's the disappointment here. It's like they had a deer in the headlights look since Game 1. We had moments of the team from the regular season. But then it just goes away. I don't get it. I'll never understand it. This hurts. They give away this entire series. I would accept it if we got beat by the 2nd best team in the league. But this? Nope. Congratulations Bruins, you played yourselves.

Frustrated. Frustrating. Sad. Angry. Just...I don't understand. My heart hurts for Bergy.

For the last time this season. A Dracarys.
And JCVD dancing my sadness away.

I honestly can’t think of a bigger **** you to the fans than having a season like that, and then coming into the playoffs and just choking.

I have never said this before, but blow it up. Destroy it, there is not a single guy I want back on this team after that. Loser DNA

2019 is worse, but not by much. I’m not even sad, I’m disgusted that I let them do this to me again.
This. I foolishly came back this year (meaning I was watching games all year and foolishly believing in this team) hoping they would do what other supposed elite teams do and win when it matters.

This team didn't want it enough or have the mental fortitude, strength or leadership to do it when it mattered most.

I lived through terrible Bruins hockey in the late 90s and early 2000's

Was not until our double first draft of Thornton and Samsonov that I had hope again.

Lots of rough years.
Time for that again I think.

But we will get to see kids come out of the A and become NHLers.
Just like Blond Bergeron and some kid from Whereslavia name Krecji.

We will be back, most of us, next fall.
Time for no expectations and just enjoying what we can.

Brad coasting to the bench in 2019 and not moving his feet in the D-Zone tonight.

My game 7's memories and not Cpt material.

Gutsy game by DK. Clearly not 75%. I think I'll follow hockey in Europe next year.
Will not watch so much as a highlight of another hockey game this playoffs.
That includes 2011.
