I am in this historic thread to wish everyone the best of luck and it's time to take a step back from cheering for this team for a couple years. Not worth watching and having the team choke and lose the way they did.

Sorry core, you sold your fanbase out.
Honestly...

I feel the same.

Choke after choke.

Year after year.

So much for this supposed great culture they have.

Don't know if I'll watch next year.

Probably not.

I'm so sad.

We really lost the series bad in even strength play. If our PP hadn’t come up with big goals, it could have been ugly.

Yes, feels like the only one being able to generate anything 5on5 was Bertuzzi. Because everyone else refused to embrace playoff-hockey.

It's pretty sad, but we have seen that before over all those years. That core could have won way more, but they didn't.

Welp it’s been a pleasure watching the bruins this year and conversing with all of you… tough end to a great season…. And going to be interesting to see how management goes forward with the roster/goalies.

Don’t worry I’ll still be around, I signed a contract when lindholm signed to at least be a closet bruins fan until his contract is up ;)

My guess on injuries:

Broken ribs for Bergeron.

Broken spirit for Lindholm.

Broken toe for Orlov.

Broken eyebrow for McAvoy.

Broken everything for Krejci.

Broken vision for Zacha.
Broken ribs for Hathaway for sure. Other than Bergeron injury I don't care about the rest of them. THey played soft. Didn't hold their positional play.

Funny thing about this series. Florida played more like the Bruins of old than the Bruins of now did.

Chip in pucks. Get dirty. Go to the net.

I don’t know when exactly Boston decided they no longer wanted to play that way but I’d hope, in the future, they would go back to it.

They’ve become a team that relies on power plays to win games and looks lost in the playoffs 5 on 5.

They look small. And they played small all series.

The guy that beat them, Tkachuk, is the guy that should be a f***ing Bruin at this point.

The rebuild has to start this offseason: sell, sell and sell.
It should have started last offseason when they failed. This time we dove in even harder and mortgaged the future for two years. This team is porked for a while.

With how much better Florida was, I ain't even mad.

Florida played better hockey, full stop. Congrats to them for wanting it more.

The Big Smoke (unfortunately)
Anyway I have no interest in a post-mortem at this point.

As I said on Friday, I would be here on Sunday and if they won I’d be right back here for game 1. But if not I’m not going to wallow in misery over it. Been there, done that, not worth it anymore. I’m going to go outside and enjoy my spring and summer (if it ever stops raining) and will be right back here in September. Or April. Or whenever.

Be well everyone.

End of an era. No chance Bergeron or Krejci come back. This was the year. Looked like Bergeron was crying hugging Marchand at the end.

So disappointed in Charlie McAvoy tonight. Worst player on the ice in too many of these big games.

I am right there with him. My favourite player of all time just choked away the season by coming back and leading his team to 3 losses in a row. I never thought I'd see the day.

I can’t put a finger on Monty’s mind.

So often when he speaks, I feel like he watched a different game than I did.

Whole team is like this. Raycroft interview Gryz after the first and he basically said "Well, I think we did a good job..." and right there I stopped listening because they did nothing "good" in the first period.
