The depressing thing is if this group couldn't even win round 1 this season as the top seed, hard to get motivated to be excited about them going forward. Might have a good regular season next season, but will just choke in the playoffs.

Bruins up 3-1 while Bergeron and Krejci played only 1 game combined. They lost 3 in a row with 1 or both in the lineup. Bergeron was a total -6 in those games.

Whole team is like this. Raycroft interview Gryz after the first and he basically said "Well, I think we did a good job..." and right there I stopped listening because they did nothing "good" in the first period.

I ain’t saying it was anything to write home about, but I thought the first was their best period. Played “okay”. Maybe “good” by NHL standards is a stretch.

They cashed some chances in the other periods but they weren’t good in the second and weren’t much better in the third.
