Leafs ownership should start firing front office folks and take a serious look at the team they're icing. It's beyond obvious the folks they have in charge have plateau'd. Time to make changes to try and take the next step forward.
Didn’t they do that last year

Eowyn : The city has fallen silent. There is no warmth left in the sun.

Faramir : [approaching her] It is only the damp of the first spring rain.

[Eowyn looks up at him]

Faramir : I do not believe this darkness will endure...

Agree. Many shots in the game had the puck hitting Samsonov's chest team logo. Glad Pastrnak took his time and exercised immense patience. He could have just one timed it right off the boards. Was a nice play he made, for sure.
The five hole fake froze Samsonov and made him not attempt a poke. Chef's kiss of a goal.

It doesn't matter because Samsonov let in a bad goal.

Woll is in net and that's the GWG.
Demanding 1-0 wins out of a goalie that you don't even pay that much to is insane. You gotta be pretty bummed looking at the Leafs cap situation and seeing how screwed they are. They'll be a popular pick for a standings faller next season. 115 -> 111 -> 102 -> ? (Do they drop another 4-10 points)?

Great series. Great game. Was expecting the series winning goal to be a deflection or a score off a rebound, not this absolute thing of beauty by Pastrnak. Such a skillful goal to close out the series.

Swayman is such a good goalie. A rock solid game from him was not a surprise. Gotta give credit to Samsonov though. That was not expected from him. Credit also to the Leafs for tidying things up in front of the net. This is a given with Boston but Toronto tightening things up made it a tight series.

And lastly, Florida has a very strong team. But one can imagine Boston is playing for revenge.

Marner the biggest p***y 😺 in the entire NHL. Why is he so afraid of physical contact? Why does he avoid it so badly?

He literally had an empty net but refuses to tuck in in on the left side because a player might smack him onto the ice after scoring. Ridiculous

Somone needs to reset his psyche

Also nice win Boston let's go !

Predictable result the second that Auston 'Boat Anchor' Matthews was penciled into the lineup. Leafs should probably look at why the team plays like a gutless bunch of losers with him in the lineup before thinking too hard about anything else.

Leafs played very well, for the most part, in the last three games. I thought BOS played terribly in game 5 and most of 6, and not so hot in g 7, with some exceptions. Swayman was magnificent. It always makes me laugh at how much this site undervalues goalies. Samsonov was also vg. Anyone blaming him for this loss is an idiot.

Pasta wasn't really vg, but that goal was much harder than it looked. I don't blame Rielly... it's near impossible to cover that when a fast player is coming in at speed from the neutral zone.

MaCAvoy better get his head together. He was crap. Zacha also needs to show up. I don't know what Carlo was doing on the GA. Hesitated, for some reason, then toe picked ... I mean, talk about the moment being too big for some players.

I don't know how you fire Keefe after this series. His team was better in the last three games, even though they were missing their best player for two of them. If Swayman wasn't so good they'd be on to the 2nd round. I thought that McCabe, Lybushkin, Edmundson were all vg, and almost all the players on the Leafs played really well(except...ahem...). Domi stopped acting like an idiot, Bertuzzi, too, and the bottom sixers played well.
