McDavids time in Edmontin has made him the richest player in hockey, most successful individual success in hockey, most hardware in hockey, and a legit chance to compete every year next to the best wingman any team could have provided him. He’s a lock for the hall of fame and his career isn’t even half done. I think things are going fine for him in Edmonton.
How would any of that be any different in Toronto, outside of not having Drai?

Sure is. Last two play offs lost to the powerhouse Stanley winning teams in 3rd and 2nd round. (Aves 16-4. Knights 16-6)
Will beat nucks next round and go to the final four for second time in last three years.
You can bet your house a Cup is in McDavids future.

When McDavid doesn’t single handedly end the 1967 curse they’d run him and his family’s name through the mud. He’d produce way less away from Drai. They’d make him a pariah in his home town. In edmonton he’s universally loved. Zero criticism. Zero toxic media. No distractions.

The Leafs 60 million dollar offense scored 1 goal in this game. 1 f***ing goal.

But it's the 3.5M goalies fault

He let in quite a few bad goals this series. He was pulled from the net and then got it back due to injuries. Went 1-4 this series while the other Leafs goalie went 2-0.

First Drake now the Leafs, rough night for Toronto.
What happened to Drake ? ha!

Then fire the coach for putting the wrong goalie in game 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Fact is they are both about the same.

One goal in an elimination game. Toronto is about to have four 8 figure forwards on their books next year. Their offense this series scored 12 goals in 7 games and had a 4% powerplay.

Blaming the goalie who has never started even 45 games in this league is weak shit copium. It's an improperly built hockey team. Series losses to Columbus, Montreal, and now this watered down Bruins team makes it as obvious as the nose on Auston's face.

The Core 4 won't be together much longer. Luckily for the Leafs, it's the two worst offenders who are on the last 2 years of their deal.

The Leafs had to lose the 2 contributing members of the core 4 for half the series.

How did Pasternak get in there so fast. I think it was offside.
I think they may have practiced that play before. Totally caught all the Leafs flat footed. That’s probably the best bounce they ever got when running it.

Due to leaf forwards not scoring goals. Which goalie can win when the leafs dont score more than 2 goals in 13/14 playoff games?

Leafs were 2-0 without matthews in line up also…. Makes you wonder

Samsonov vs Swayman was a guaranteed loss. 0-4. Matthews was injured.

Woll never allowed 2 goals to the Bruins, so probably him.
