20mins left with the season on the line. Now the core 4 will kick it into high gear and show us a level we've never seen before. :naughty: Florida doesn't know what's about to hit them.

*The portion of his pad that had the puck under it was fully over the line.

How do we know which portion it was under, the angle from outside the blue line shows it.

Again goals can't be called by inference.
The angle outside the blue line didn't do anything to show the puck crossed the line, and the rules are very clear that you can't 1+1 that type of thing to guess where the puck fully is even if it seems like common sense.

There was no angle to overturn the call.

Its not, the puck is stuck well above skate level and slides to skate level when he lifts the pad. You can't know if that puck has 1 millimetre of it touching the line. This has been talked about many times, but the NHL needs puck tracking technology for situations like this.
Yes you can from the replays from in front of the net that the puck was actually stuck under his right goal pad. The puck only moved back towards the goal after Bobrovsky got up after the play was whistled dead.

Why would they show a replay in the building of the puck going in when the goalie is getting up after the play is dead. Lol
I know somebody who works for the arena. They search through all the footage and select the best angle that shows a goal. It gets the crowd going and pumped up. They also hope that it could influence and bias the refs hearing the crowd. And if it is called back the crowd is still riled up

It's hilarious listening to them pander to Leafs fans. I wonder they actually buy into this.

It's not even pandering. Pandering would be talking about how much of the pad was in the net and that the puck was under the pad without mentioning anything about the question of if Rielly pushing the pad in negates it.

Instead they focused on something that was totally irrelevant and called in their rules expert multiple times to discuss something that had absolutely zero impact on the play.

Intent to blow the whistle gives the refs too much power and shouldn’t be a thing. It’s blown, or it’s not, simple as that.

What intent to blow the whistle? The whistle was blown and it was because Rielly was celebrating. The only reason the puck even went in was because the whistle was blown and Bobrovsky got up
