Are goalies not allowed to get up after the whistle? How long should they be forced to be frozen in place?
Intent to blow is actually a thing in the NHL rulebook according to shenaningans a few years agoSportnet has the replay with sound on full and there's no whistle heard whatsoever. Sucks that it didn't count though.
The angle outside the blue line didn't do anything to show the puck crossed the line, and the rules are very clear that you can't 1+1 that type of thing to guess where the puck fully is even if it seems like common sense.
There was no angle to overturn the call.
Tampa literally did it in the last seriesYou can't just cheer a goal into existence lol.
I’m no Sox fan but man was I ever in ‘04. That comeback was f***ing epic and that Damon grand slam. Never forget it.My baseball team went 86 years without winning a championship. I feel ya leafs fans. Especially when you consider there will be teams in Houston, Atlanta, Quebec and if I had it my way....Hartford in the next 10 years. Odds will be even tougher.....
I'd love to see Hartford get the Whale back too,but I doubt it'll ever happen. Well, A LOT needs to happen, and it's such a small market...but we have the Coyotes soap opera out west so you never knowMy baseball team went 86 years without winning a championship. Whistle never blew. But the puck was under the pad the whole time, it trickling in after he shakes it loose, proves it was in, just like when the goalie catches the puck behind the line. That was not the call. The play was dead before the puck went in. And the only reason the puck went in was because the ref blew the whistle causing Bobrovsky to pull his leg back as he got up
For sure, Panthers are on their heels. It's coming. 100 percent. The Leafs have taken over.
Great point. And likely it is a goal in that case.Yeah honestly if he doesn't celly then they likely keep play going a bit longer there.

This is 100% accurate but you won’t get many leaf fans to see it this way.You can see it stuck under the pad. You can also see its well above skate level where its stuck. You can see the skate fully over the line, but not much more than that. Again, how can you see how if there is white ice between the puck and the line? If anything when Bobrovsky lifts the pad and the puck slides into the net, you can see it wasn't over the line prior to him lifting it. What you can't see is if Bob moved his pad forward before that moment when we can finally see the puck.
Didn’t the Leafs benefit from a Tampa goal being called off due to quick whistle in the first round?
