PK has become a super Chico/Dano for us on a national level! Hahaha Messier must be miserable this morning. Let's that bald ass bastard know how it feels to be teased and annoyed by Rags fans. I called it too. Said he'd retire and go to T.V he was a good soldier like Brendan Smith is now but, with a 100 mph slapper and a Norris Trophy in his past. He's likely making more money of T.V anyway and not destroying his body to do it. Keep up the great work PK!

Bratt-Timo combo was going ham in OT.

I still have complaints. The interference calls are BS. If you want to call ticky-tack stuff call it fair. You had Rangers grab-butting down the ice with no calls.

Even the broadcast was bias. They said, Timo should of got 1 for goaltender interference. The defender checked him into the goalie and kept him down with cross checks while the goalie punched the crap out of him.

Devils Win! PK wooing in Mr. Rangers face made up for the frustration.

It’s nuts we had to listen to “Devils can’t handle big boy playoff hockey” and then we had to watch a game where players are taking high hits, being tripped, and being held with no call while the opponent was getting calls because the Devils got to pieces of ice before they did.

Yea I think the general sentiment amongst fans of teams in the playoffs is that the reffing has been especially heinous

have we just found our goalie for the next games and the next season?

when i look at schmid's career, the course of the season with the call ups and sent downs, i think the performance in this game has to be rated even higher.

and even if i am very biased, i feel the team plays better with schmid in goal...
If anything, this performance spells the true end of Blackwood here in NJ.

This team plays well for anyone not named MacKenzie Blackwood. VV is still a big part of this team. We have a good tandem here and their regular season stats prove just that. Ride the hot goalie right now!

It was quite a performance by the refs. Blatant slash leading directly to a goal, no call. Shoulder directly to the jaw, no call. Slight bump on a pick play by one of the smallest players on the ice? Can’t let that go.

Bahl has been terrific. I don't see how you can take him out. He is a regular now.

I'd like to see us get more out of Mercer and Tatar. Boqvist and moving down McLeod would make sense to me but I doubt Lindy wants 3 right shots on the 4th line.
mercer is folding up a bit under the pressure he cant handle the heat on those blueline breakout passes. his passing has been forced and panicked

I was fine with the interference call on Bratt, but the one on Timo was just awful. Timo never altered his path. Gotta love Dave Jackson blaming Meier for running into Shesterkin when he was shoved in though, while Jackson just agrees with the refs every time here was a case where he didn't.

Hockey is the only sport I know of where it is incumbent on the person being hit to make the right move.

The phantom high stick with 6 minutes left in the game to try and get the Rangers the win was particularly egregious.

They really use the “expert” part of “rules expert” liberally with these former ref imbeciles who add nothing of value to the broadcast. ESPN sucks.

What I don't like is that it helps perpetuate and enable the broken system. He's a product of the garbage officiating this league has and they have him on to sugarcoat and praise that garbage to try and save face.

The most dangerous part of the play by the rules was the punches using the blocker. Jackson, the expert, could have brought that up to be interesting since it’s a slightly more obscure rule.

If the ref deemed the goalie was trying to hurt Meier then it would be a match penalty and possible suspension.

The severity of the possible punishment is why you don’t see goalie punching guys with their blocker, just in case.
