At what point does the garden just get pitch dark. A single light comes on. Its beamed onto one person. Its Rene Rancourt. The garden goes nuts. Everyone in the building is belting out the anthem with Rene. The roof is about to blow off. The bruins still only score 2 goals on 40 SOG though.
Exactly, no pride, no victory. I've never seen such a limp Bruins team. No matter who's playing, the coach is the one who sets the agenda, the game plan and at this he is completely and utterly out to lunch. They're either too banged up, or several of them seem to have no pulse for the game. If each and every guy who's suited up tonight played like their life or career was on the line they'd have a different attitude. I want to see BIG ATTITUDE tonight but I fear and feel like they know the officiating is going against them and Bruce has absolutely no clue in how to get them enthused and engaged. Be the hammer not the nail since the hitter or hammer doesn't seem to get penalized on the respondent seems to pay the price. GO BRUINS GO!!

Could have seen that one coming though after Frederic was benched after his penalty. He just has no discipline and probably trust Frederic the least to not put the team in a bad situation again.

Bruins should not be pressing for the first goal. That’s a big part of the problem. Just play sound hockey and capitalize on chances. 0-0 is okay. They shouldn’t feel added pressure as the clock ticks with no score. We’ve gotta win 2-1, 3-2, at the most. That should be the outlook. Sure, score, put up PPGs and put up 5+…but if that doesn’t happen don’t press…settle in. Focus on business shift to shift.
