Post-Game Talk: ECQF Game 2: Rangers @ Capitals 5/4/13 - Lundqvists 0 - Capitals 1

LOL...imagine even the Leafs with Hank in the net ! or the Isles or the Devils ...or the Flyers...this is not sounding great LOL .

yeh your right and one year left on his contract hope they try to sign him to a new contract this off season he should be first on our list to sign

Management doesn't seem to like Kane's attitude.

Really? I'd think management is just fine with their Hart Trophy candidate and playoff performer.

Sure maybe I asked for too much. But Kane must come back in any deal involving Hank. I'd lose it if the best player we got was Patrick Sharp.

Asking for Kane is downright delusional, let alone adding 3 first rounders and Crawford. Chicago wouldnt trade Kane for the entire Rangers roster, he's that good. He is a young elite, offensive superstar who is the best player on the best team in the world.

Patrick Sharp is a world class player, not sure why you'd be upset in getting him in a deal.

A lot of the problems stem from being mediocre.
Middle of the pack draft choices
Even when we had high draft choices , most did not pan out.
A lot of bad free agent signings
The Blackhawks built from kids, used draft choices wisely, prudent free agent signings and good trades

Do you ignore what I say? What does his performance have to do with his attitude. Just this past summer there were rumblings of him being traded because of his constant partying and binge drinking. Blackhawks management doesn't like it and has had it with him when it comes to that crap.

That doesn't mean they'll throw him away for nothing, but if he keeps it up while they tell him repeatedly to cut it out, I don't see why they wouldn't at least entertain the IDEA of trading him for a very fair, if not better return.

Without Kane, and with Hank, that team still wins multiple Cups.

I don't seem to remember Hawks management commenting about Kane.

If lundqvist get his usual 30 plus wins next year he will pass mike richter in wins . Too bad richter had to retire a little early

When all the jerkoffs at the hockey news, cbc, tsn, ect try to call out Lundqvist as a playoff failure this is a game people should point too.

What else do you want him to do?

What a pathetic showing. Probably won't be watching the last 2 games. So disgusted with this team.

I don't seem to remember Hawks management commenting about Kane.

"We are aware of that situation," Bowman said. "We followed it closely. It was one of those things where we've discussed it with Patrick. We've handled that internally.

"We're obviously disappointed with how it played it out, and Patrick is aware of that fact. But at this point, it's a private matter. I think, out of respect for Patrick, we're not going to comment further. We're going to look forward and try to focus on things in improving our team leading into the summer."

“Would I have liked to see him in the photos? Of course not,” Rocky Wirtz said of Patrick Kane.

But the Hawks are more than just disappointed in Kane. A team source told the Sun-Times that some in the organization have suggested that Kane seek help.

well team's own fans were bashing him after game 1, despite only being supplied with 1 goal support. Start biron for game 2 they said

Now we're trying to trade Hank? I thought maybe after a few hours things wouldn't be so ridiculous.

Ashamed to be a Rangers fan and not because of the team or Torts, but the moronic drivel, whiny, quitter attitude around here and the Rangers FB/Twitter/Instagram.

I'm usually optimistic, but it's clear if he is to win a Cup, it isn't going to be as a Ranger. Not his fault.

trade hank because he deserves better. Also will expose this team as being bottom 5 and upstart a rebuild that should've started in 2004.

win win for both sides.

Why not point them to the olympic gold medal game when he did insane amazing shouldn't be able to be done saves? He did like 5 of them alone in the last 3 minutes of the game.

You guys have to be honest with my question here.

Are the Rangers advancing past the Caps bad for the image of hockey?

Every playoff series this team has been involved in since 2009 has been very boring. The NHL after all is an entertainment type business too and I think exposing new fans to Rangers stone age playing style is bad for hockey. What are your thoughts?

NEED TO RANT ABIT ON A OFF TOPIC sometimes i wonder if this league favors teams it likes or needs to be successful like the pens habs ect that hit last night looked good to me but wait the habs cant be knocked out yet because its canadas team so they suspend the guy and take out any life or momentum the sens have just like the non calls the rangers get but if we do them then its a penalty. then theres the pens and the golden crybaby sid you can't touch him without the league coming down on you. also this still burns me there is the 2005 draft where the pens were having trouble keeping afloat and lemiux almost broke was going to fold and go under so they made up the rules for the draft and said if anyone that had the first overall pick in the previous 4 years would loose a ball most balls was three .So realizing there error they changed the rules so that somehow the pens had the most balls possible even knowing they had the first overall pick in 2003 betman helping out mario again and screwing with the teams that should have gotten the best chance at the pick Sabres rangers bluejackets getting screwed don't know how the owners let him get away with this . thanks for reading this nonsense

no it's not nonsense... it's nauseating though...

Look at how Geico is promoting Backstrum and the Capitals, even NBC for that matter is totally focused on Ovechkin and his turnaround season. Bettman want his pet projects and expansion teams to do well.

Bruins won a cup.

No. We are New York. If anything, they'd rig it in our favor for a NY team to make the Finals for increased viewership and revenue.

Bruins won a cup.

I don't think the Bruins are boring at all. They are a very physically engaging team that embody the closest thing to the Broadstreet Bullies. They are very marketable in that aspect of toughness and playing hard nosed hockey. They are also a much more entertaining team than the Rangers when they get their cycle game going.

A ny team winning would be great for the league.

However, they probably just want a Crosby - Ovi matchup. They'd promote the **** out of that. And then some.

I'm not talking about city, rather playing styles.

Tell me with a straight face that the Rangers are an entertaining team to watch.

Like for a neutral casual fan, would you want them to watch tapes of Rangers games?
