Might be a good idea for them to try applying that to the other 99.99999% of the ones they do whistle down. Gee, what made today so special?
Though the Rangers would probably not have done much on the PP, we don;'t know that, and any logical thinker would know that that is 100% beside the point.

TOI distribution looks right on the money. We got dominated and outplayed by the better team today. It makes the loss much easier to take for me.

We have some solid prospects coming in next yr. Barring a major uptick from beaver and considering our closing window for winning a cup I think we dump the beav and look to spend the 6.6 on a younger set of legs.

That is the most political thing I've heard from the NHL Rulebook yet.

Yeah great argument. Our offense was inept today. We've seen how well they can play in the offensive zone at times and today was not one of them. Horrible decisions with the puck all game long.

I just don't agree. They were outplayed by the Caps today, but it wasn't "horrible . . . all game long" by any stretch of imagination.

Crocadile tears. Meaningless.

I feel bad for him, but he screwed up. Apart from that penalty he played a good game, so he shouldnt cry. I mean we lost in OT. A strong team effort and great play by Henrik.

I dont get all this whining. This was game 2. The caps had home ice advantedge, help from the refs (shouldve been a penalty late in the third. **** the refs) and they got a stronger roster. Ovi is better than Nash, Backstrøm is better than Stepan and Green is better than Del Zotto. But the rangers still played a good game, because of a good gameplan, good goaltending and a good overall team effort.

I know we are passionate. I know we are heated and frustrated.

Regardless, you guys can not being calling each others character into question or getting personal. Rip apart the Capitals, the Rangers, Torts, the ice, opposing posters points but not each other.

C'mon now. We may have differing philosophies, but as fans we are in this together. Being a Rangers fan is already as miserable as it is. Lets not make it worse by killing each other.

Meh, a loss like this shows who the real fans are, anyway. Team needs to just get up and shake this crappy loss off. Sucks that they lost, but hopefully they can put it behind them. This team can be seriously emotional sometimes. Hopefully the home crowd can get behind them and help out.

How many odd man rushes did we have compared to them? We can't even get 1 SOG with the PP, yet somehow we weren't that bad on offense.

the power play loses yet another game. this can't continue. the coaching staff has been unable to affect any change in this area.

Even a half way decent PP could have put one away today. No reason with this personnel that we should be so handicapped in this area.

Tortorella is an incomplete, coach. His methods are outdated and backwards like his personality. I never see players rising to meet the
situations of the game. I see an overbearing personality forcing a stringent defensive system on this team.

Meh, we won't. I've been calling for this for years. Teams goon it up against us all the time. Torts is just very, very much against that crap. I mean, good for him and all, but the refs aren't calling the game right so we just need to adapt and play as dirty as other teams do against us.
