The problem with merged posts is two-fold. For the person who likes one post and it gets merged with another, the liker got baited and switched into liking both posts, one of which they might not have wanted to like.It's the HF equivalent of telling someone to slow their f***ing roll
For the poster, what if two of your posts get merged and different people liked each of the posts? Do you collect all likes? As if each sold separately? Still trying to prove that out.
Either way it's poor UX.
