Feels good to be back. No nerves today, just excitement. Ready to see the young guys get their feet wet. Really excited to see how some of the veterans fair getting back into the playoffs. Shesterkin in a series is going to be fun.

This might be the ideal team to face. Not overly physical, trending in the wrong direction, and missing their #1 goalie.

I do expect the crowd, myself included, to be raucous. The regular season vibes were great. The playoff vibes will be even better. It's been 5 years, we've experienced a rebuild, a loss of games, and a full blown pandemic. People are going to be loud and ready to go. It's going to be a lot of fun tonight.

Win lose or whatever...this will all be good for the team overall .If we win ...GREAT if we lose then I hope the experience is ever valuable for the younger guys . It might also identify who stays here short term and who remains long term . I still think after watching us in physical games that we are a bit on the soft side of things overall . If we have Kreider/Goodrow/Trouba/Schneider/Lindgren /Laf/Hunt/Rooney/Miller playing physical tonight it will help set the tone and maybe have the Penguin defense rushing some plays . Pre January Igor will also help a lot . Have fun everybody and enjoy things . Rangers in 5 .
