This was 2009 - pre-Boston Cup. Most of these guys were still fresh off of fair-weathering the Sox and then fair-weathering the Celtics, they hadn’t gotten a chance to fair-weather the Bruins yet!

Correct. ESPN+ is only for regular season I believe. I'm hoping I'm even able to get the national ESPN feed here in Boston. I think I should be able to but not 100% sure until tonight. As much as ESPN sucks I'd rather not have to watch the game on mute all night on NESN...

I mean you can..... At the right places but that's my understanding. Goofy blackouts and imaginary lines are the reason I stopped paying for the NHL package.
I'd be heavily tempted if I weren't in day 4 of isolation after finally running out of luck vs Covid.

I have something too. I don't think it's covid because I had that back in like Feb. Someone at work drug in a head cold thing last week and sat around the shop hacking all over everything. Gosh, I wonder where I could have gotten this

I had that back in mid-April. Went through the whole house, and it sucked. My wife got over it last before a "relapse", or so we thought.
Turns out she caught Covid.
Mute the TV. Sync up the radio stream.

It could be blacked out since NESN is carrying round 1. I'm almost certain that in past years when NESN has round 1 I've been able to watch the Bruins playoff games on the national feed without it being blacked out, but my memory isn't what it used to be and I'm just not 100% sure if the ESPN deal changed that. It seems like no and I should be able to watch it on ESPN but sometimes the national feed will be blacked out locally for the local feed.
