The only thing advanced stats got right was shots on goal ,
I saw that. My first thought was "shit that's a penalty for interfering with play on the ice"
But that guy was no longer on the ice and in the Bruins bench so f*** it I guess.

He just floats too much for my liking. It’s the playoffs man, you are thier best player and need to dig in. It’s not like he doesn’t have experience, he just seems to almost always disappoint in the playoffs. I’m glad he is like that for our sake, but man how many mulligans are they willing to give him before they realize he may just be only a regular season type player only
If the BRUINS lost every game where they were outshot, they'd be tied with the Ducks.

Safe to say, I have absolutely zero clue who is starting Monday night. I thought for sure Ullmark would play game 1, then Swayman goes out and puts on a show

Funny I am going to go against many here and say keep the goalie rotation going. Goalies are creature of habit. The habit is a rotation. Change nothing! Just keep on trucking with what they are used to
That’s because he has no ability to impact a game other than by scoring. Compare that to Marchand who can impact a game in myriad ways. Hell, even tonight he impacted the game by doing Nothing in response to Domi’s antics lol.
Obviously Swayman was awesome tonight but why not start Ullmark in game 2 . Hes got to be chomping at the bit and wanting to prove management wrong for wanting to trade him . Swayman nor Ullmark are used to playing consecutive games . If nothing else it keeps Swayman fresher for later in the series . If Ullmark does play in game 2 I think he will play very well.
I was afraid that when the Laffs' player was hit onto the bench, a BRUINS' player was gonna come onto the ice. Too many men penalty would have been called.

What I liked about it (and I hadn’t thought of it in the “it-could-be-a-penalty” context) was Lauko showing a second layer of sticking up for the team. Something I think many have lamented a lack of in the regular season.

We'll never know how important that was but his reaction to Domi told me he had his head screwed on tight tonight.
Sway stole the game. Laffs don’t really have a heavy forecheck at all. Gryz will be fine all series. Shattenkirk looks a little suspect playing his off side with Peeke. But we need him for PP, so would Peeke come out? And Wotherspoon in? They seem to think Peeke can kill penalties, which I’m not convinced of yet. The Laffs 4 on 3 had to score if they wanted a chance. But Sway! They were missing Nylander.
