They both expected Bob to get the start last night and given how soft Lyon was on the Marchand goal, I agree with them. That said, Maurice sounds like he's going to ride Lyon. Was surprised at their take to start Bob game 2

No it doesn't.Which tells us it is really a injury....
Sounds plausible.No it doesn't.
He's probably getting iv's plus he's there for his team.
My guess is that he lost some weight and strength and that is why they held him out.
Lauko lost 8 lbs a few weeks ago. Bergy is listed at 196 lbs but that was at training camp. 8 lbs is a lot to lose in a matter of a few days.
We will see what practice brings at 11:30.Sounds plausible.
I'm going with this as well.
Well I hope you are right and I am wrong again, but not so sure............No it doesn't.

It's nice that they won game 1, really allows them to make sure Bergy is ready rather than rushing him back out of desperation. We will see what practice brings at 11:30.
I can't control whatever it is so I'm not going to worry about it. He'll play when he's able to and the other guys will continue to step up.
Florida was playing pond hockey, throwing pucks at the net hoping for deflections and lucky bounces.I hated the first two periods as the Bruins were outworked and outcoached completely. The third was better. One hopes that rest, fluids and recognition will help.
We will see who is/isn't practicing today and what Monty says post practice.Well I hope you are right and I am wrong again, but not so sure............
man do I hope Bergy is ok, guy has played through so much, is this really the flu or me being totally paranoid?
Either way, good start to the series
Charlie Coyle really stepped up and led in the 3rd. He's a puck possession monster.Coyle, Hathaway & Nosek were nightmare to play against in the 3rd.
Hall definitely should have tried 5-hole on the second breakaway. But I guess that's easy for me to say.Hall needs to shoot. Frederic can crash the crease hunting down rebounds. Shoot Hall shoot
It's funny how there are times I watch Coyle casually carry the puck from the blue line down the wall to the corner, slowly around the net and up the other wall, and nothing ever comes of it. It frustrates me to no end. Then there are times where he does it 2, 3x in a single shift and still nothing comes of it and I realize how frustrating it must be to chase this guy all night. It also helps when the other 4 guys on the ice make a charge to open space while Coyle is stirring the play.Coyle, Hathaway & Nosek were nightmare to play against in the 3rd.
I think pass was the right play both big chances he dished to Frederic, but the problem was that Hall showed 100% pass all night. He needs to be at least a little bit of a shooting threat. Great plays, but with a little more nuance to it (or perhaps Frederic making a stronger shot to Lyon) I think 1 of those tickles twineHall definitely should have tried 5-hole on the second breakaway. But I guess that's easy for me to say.
Florida was forechecking like hell ,and they got caught a few times that turned into 2-1 ones if the Bruins had capitalized on them I think they would have changed their game plan.Florida was playing pond hockey, throwing pucks at the net hoping for deflections and lucky bounces.
Hard to defend that type of hockey. Bruins where structured when possible and adjusted in the third.
The best take for me was as a team, they know they played a C game. Florida is toast
I think you're on to something there.I think pass was the right play both big chances he dished to Frederic, but the problem was that Hall showed 100% pass all night. Thanks!!!!!If you plan to listen to Morning Bru today there are audio issues on Apple but it is good on Spotify
And Florida’s goalie was cheating on the pass on the 2-1’s.I think pass was the right play both big chances he dished to Frederic, but the problem was that Hall showed 100% pass all night.
