Last nights game was amazing though, the boys really have the rythm now, hope they keep the pace the next 60 minutes and take it home.

A couple of people can erase what has been a overly terrible series with a good performance tonight.

Looking at you Nash, Richards, and Callahan.

Win and go on, it's that simple.

They have to find a way to win a game in Washington. Pretty please? Oh, and find a way to score more than 1 goal without having to go into triple OT. Get Hank a 2-3 goal lead.
 
The Rangers were up 1-0 in both game 1 and 5. Hagelin had really good scoring chances to make it 2-0. Breakaway stopped by Holtby in game 1 and Erskine tripped Hagelin on a breakaway in game 5. Hagelin scores on either of those chances,Rangers could have wrapped up the series in 6. Get the first goal and get the 2nd.

Totally agree.

Rangers scoring first usually means a win, but both of those times they couldnt extend the lead. Its going to be really important to get up on the Caps tonight because you know they arent going to be shut out of Power Plays for two straight games.
 
I usually never get feelings about games, but tonight I'm feeling one of those snoozers where we play flat out terrible hockey, but win because of some clutch scoring and Lundqvist having a dominant 3rd period.

It won't be pretty, but obviously I'll take it.
 
Caps looked really thrown off their game at the end. Take advantage of that and come out strong to kill them off
 
The Rangers have scored ONE goal in the past 180 mins, 40 seconds at Washington, with the overtimes, etc.

That's freaking mind boggling. You'd have to think they'd be due..right? :help:

Wouldn't it be great if Holtby had a Fleury-like melt-down, and we could relax for the past 10 minutes of the game?

That'd be real nice.
