And so, we scored a goal. Does anyone actually remember a single chance the Flyers had that felt dangerous? I don't. Not a single one. The goal was fluky as hell. Sure, I'll take it, but this team needs to get its act together in a hurry.
G had one in the third, but missed the net. That's it.

Pretty obvious the Flyers came into the game with a pretty methodical, grind it out, keep everything in front of you approach; which I think is fine. But the problem is the PP. Neutering yourself at even strength works if they can take advantage of the PP. MT better get his shit together with usage, or we're looking at a bunch of nail biters that could go either way.

Unsure what you were seeing. But tragically, at this stage I keep HAgg over Niskanen
I saw a defenseman who played it simple instead of getting exposed each and every time he's on the ice. When Ghost has the puck in the corner my heartrate is comparable to a breakaway on Bryz. What was he, minus-5 last game?

this team is up 2-1 despite looking stale as f***
quit being stubborn and mix it up.

Was not happy with the overall effort. After getting your shit pushed in, I expect high energy the next game. Didn't really have that response. I get that the ultimate response is winning the next game, but I would've liked to have seen more fire.
You really don't get that the problem isn't effort? Really?

The problem is trash players, trash roster construction, trash coaching, and things going exactly as predicted.

Couturier was a beast tonight. A dog on the puck.

Sanheim & Myers are carrying our blueline.

Carter was Carter.

Free TK from Hayes, please. I've seen enough.

Thompson & Grant are a disgrace as expected.

Laughts was also a disgrace. I'll be expecting much publicity of those facts from the mainstream Flyers media. Hell, Morgan Frost had a bad practice and Meltzer Tweeted about it. What does 75 turnovers by Scott Laughton get?

Unpopular opinion but it's according to my eyes.

This game was fuc*ing boring, yeah, we weren't good, we can be better and we should be better, yeah.
But we weren't worse than Habs overally. This game was just about battles around boards and we were fifty-fifty there. It was about defense mistakes and if we don't count Laughton's turnovers, we were very solid around Hart.

xGF overally: PHI 1.9 - MTL 1.58

But yeah, our lines and PP must be fixed for game 4.

Carter! Hart!

I guess we can just gloss over the 2-0 in front of the net with the game on the line?

And being 50-50 on anything with a team that looked lottery bound for long stretches of the season should be considered a negative. The Flyers will be playing a competent hockey team in the next round if they get there.

Couts is great, I see no flaws in the line up. The cup should be a lock.

Couts invisible
Giroux invisible
Voracek whatever
Hayes bad
Laughton bad
Konecny bad
I disagree.. COuts worked hard, drove the net and took punishment was good on PK.
The rest need to step up. I am worried about Giroux performance you would think after losing 5:0 the way we did he would make adjustments I mean this is playoffs. I also thought TK tried. He did not have the best game but he was with the puck a few times.

Thought they were good all game and the numbers back it up..but the 3rd they did have some real spark.
Defensively they were solid all game but they started to take over the pace of the game in the third which is whats been missing.
