Absolutely horrible.

Therrien... I'll get banned if I describe him accurately.

We won that because of the Couturier, Giroux, Jake, Sanheim, Myers, and Hart. Everyone else was either mediocre at best or downright sucked.
That was the same game as the one previous, only difference being the six guys I listed above carried the entire roster on their backs.

Real Great Danes have a lifespan slightly longer than a house fly, but we’re stuck with that van of losers for decades. I’m appropriately bitter for the situation.

Absolute dogshit. Thompson out there with 1:40 left. Offensively inept. Horrendous zone entries. Embarrassing describes the powerplay on the surface tension level. I am only posting the nice win gif out of tradition. There was nothing nice about this win.

Except, of course Carter and Oskar

this team is up 2-1 despite looking stale as f***
quit being stubborn and mix it up.

Was not happy with the overall effort. After getting your shit pushed in, I expect high energy the next game. Didn't really have that response. I get that the ultimate response is winning the next game, but I would've liked to have seen more fire.

I want to be positive, and it's not about style points in elimination games. But the Flyers game plan was to basically make the game as low event as humanly possible -- although Scott Laughton didn't get the memo -- and grind their way from an early 1 goal lead. Rely on the Couturier line, one defense pair (Sanheim-Myers), and goaltending. Against the 12th place team in the East. That's a strategy a team does because they LACK the talent advantage, not because they're the 1st seed.

Canadiens were a hair and a post off today. The Flyers did everything in their power, at evens and special teams, to not run away with the game. They probably beat the Canadiens this series, as they should. But these just aren't inspiring wins for a team that wants to go deeper. There's enough in this tape to not take this win for granted, but I smell a whiff of confirmation bias coming from tomorrow's coaching meeting.
